So, after last week's episode, I fell in love with the idea of Aria and Ezra communicating through the pretenses of schoolwork. This is just me fantasizing about how else they could go about that. I'm new to this pairing, so I'm not sure how IC this is. It's not my best work, but I'd love to hear your thoughts!

also, I use some random vocab I've had on recent vocab quizzes. If you need, definitions are on the bottom.

He swears, if he has to grade one more paper, if he has to read one more vocab quiz with a sentence like her shirt was so ugly it was ineffable or he's licentious because he has a lot of sex, he might just drop dead. These are juniors, can they not make their sentences any more original and intelligent? Do they not realize he has to spend half of his night reading them? Why did he become a teacher again?

He's skipping over the names, anything to save him a second. But it isn't too hard to guess who wrote this one. His eyes flicker to the top of the page, just to be sure, and he smiles. He crosses his legs and leans in towards the paper as if diving into some heavy reading.

Her love for him is ineffable and sometimes it's hard to keep it to herself.

Sometimes he thinks that they are licentious and that everything they are doing is wrong, but it isn't. Nothing could be more right.

They know that what they're signing up for is insidious. Maybe they are being self destructive, but it doesn't matter, she is loving every second of it.

The girl is extremely tenacious; it doesn't matter how many times he says no to a night out of town on Saturday , she'll just ask again.

./.

She's tapping her black polished nails lightly against the desk as he passes back the quizzes.

"Hannah, Jake, Mark, Aria." He dares a glance at her face as he places the paper face down on her desk. She grins at him and he turns quickly away to the next student.

She flips the paper over. 19/20 (Poor context in number 8, he wrote. I knew what you meant, but no one else would). She eagerly skims through the rest of the red inked comments.

An underline of nothing could be more right, a the feeling's mutual for insidious. And for tenacious:

she doesn't have to ask twice. It's already a yes.

Vocab lesson?

Ineffable- indescribable, unspeakable

Licentious-lacking moral restraints, disregarding sexual restraints, disregard for rules

Insidious-harmful but enticing

Tenacious-stubborn, persistent
