A/N: This is a result of me watching the episode of Glee yesterday, a show which I had never watched before, and knowing that a certain good friend of mines birthday is today, who just happens to be a Gleek. I think. I think I'm right. If not... Well, happy birthday, anyways, Anna! :D
Dedication: Happy birthday, Anna! I hope you had a blessed day and have a blessed year as a fourteen year old! Love ya! *Hugs*
"Chad!" Sonny squealed excitedly. "Hurry up! It's about to start!"
Chad, a look of slight disdain on his face, went to sit next to Sonny on the couch in her apartment. It was Tuesday, at eight PM. Sonny had on a pair of pajama pants and a tank top, and was holding a bowl of pop corn, staring at the screen anxiously. Chad wrinkled her nose.
"You're really making me watch Glee?" he questioned, as if in disbelief. Sonny rolled her eyes at him.
"Yes, I am."
"Why?"
Sonny sighed impatiently. "To show you your show isn't the only good television show out there." Chad raised a pointed eyebrow.
"I highly disagree," he scoffed, almost offended. Sonny couldn't believe how cocky Chad was, but turned back to the TV, which was rolling commercials before the new episode. "What's so interesting about some kids in a Glee club anyways? All they do is sing and dance. I mean, Mack Falls can do that… Hey, Mack Falls should do that!"
Sonny looked at him in disbelief. "Really, Chad, really? By the way, it's not all about singing and dancing. There are other things, too." Chad snorted.
"Sure, sure," he replied, rolling his eyes. "That's why the name is 'Glee.'" Sonny, starting to get extremely annoyed with her boyfriend, sighed.
"There is," she assured him. "For instance… There are relationships. I'm all for Quinn and Finn. Oh, and Rachel and Puck." A grin spread over her features. "And, on the special episode after the Super Bowl, Quinn and Finn kissed!" she giggled, giddy.
"So? Mack and Phoebe kissed in season two, season three, and season five," Chad retorted. "And we can actually act."
"Whatever, Chad," Sonny sighed, sinking into the couch. "Your just jealous that you can't act and sing as well as they can." This comment made Chad snort again.
"They wish!"
"Sure."
"They do."
"Fine."
"Fine."
"Good."
"Good!"
Chad stared at the screen in awe, as if he couldn't believe what he just saw. "Oh, my gosh… Finn and Quinn… They're perfect for each other! And then…" He continued to gabber on about that nights episode, in a trance-like state. Sonny grinned triumphantly.
"I told you it was good." She smiled.
"I didn't expect it to be that good!" Chad exclaimed, his hands moving in exaggerated motions. "There duets were… Perfect! And, man, Rachel was hot."
Sonny turned to look at him. "What did you just say?"
Chad cleared his throat. "Nothing, sweetie."
Sonny's smirk reappeared. "That's what I thought. So, tell me your opinion on the show now?"
