Uncle Luc was a very good uncle, decided Harry. Every boy should have one, with interesting canes that he could talk to and lots of pretty hair that he could braid with ribbons into very handsome designs. Aunty Cissa had assured him that he was a very clever little boy indeed, to make Uncle Luc look so very manly and proud. However, poor Papa and Draco seemed to have come down with a nasty cough when she said this. When he mentioned this to Daddy, Daddy had smiled gently at him, assuring him that he would dose both Papa and Draco with lots of Pepperup. Strangely, the very mention of the potion seemed to cure them. Pepperup, though it tasted like Hagrid's new pets sometimes smelled, must be a very wonderful potion indeed. Satisfied, Harry turned to look at his masterpiece once more.

"Uncle Luc?"

"Yes, Harry?"

"When I was a big boy, before the nasty lady put the bad spell on me, was I good at making your hair pretty?"

Maybe Pepperup didn't work that well, decided Harry. Draco and Papa seemed worse off than they had earlier.
