"Alfred! Stop eating that garbage!"
"Stop telling me what to do old man!"
"I'm not old you git! And maybe if you listened to me you would be so fat and maybe the countries wouldn't hate you!"
"T-they don't hate me! And I'm not fat! God your such a bossy, cocky, and grumpy bastard! And yet you wonder why I left you?!"
"Well I'm bloody glad you left! You know what- I hate you! There I said it! I wish ole' frog face got you now if you would kindly Stay out of my life!"
The argument played over and over in Alfred's head. Arthur hated him. Arthur wanted nothing to do with him. But he loved Arthur, a lot. After that Arthur stormed out of the conference room and all the countries stayed silent, no one daring to so much as breathe. When the words finally sunk in, Alfred collapsed to his knees and the meeting was over. It was now two days after the argument and Alfred hasn't left his room since. Matthew tried several times to comfort him but to no avail. A knock suddenly sounded from the door. Matthew came in without waiting for a reply.
"Alfred… Please… The others are starting to worry about you as am I. Nothing is going to get better if you just sit in here forever, eh."
Alfred said nothing as he stared blankly at the wall pretending his brother wasn't there.
Matthew sighed "Fine. I'll just go talk to Arthur, eh." He left the room without another word.
Matthew knocked on the hotel room door he knew belonged to Arthur.
"Ah, hello Matthew. To what do I owe the pleasure of your visit?" Venom and sarcasm laced each word making it very obvious that Arthur was not happy.
"I just wanted to know how long you planned on staying mad at Alfred, eh."
To Matthew's surprise, Arthur's head drooped and his once angry eyes now conveyed sadness.
"Arthur?"
"Come in…" Arthur stepped aside allowing space for Matthew to pass.
"O-okay..." Matthew walked into the hotel. Matthew heard the sound of the door being closed and locked.
"Why are you locking the-"
"Matthew can you keep a secret?" Matthew stared at Arthur in shock.
"Yes…"
"The truth is… I'm not actually mad at Alfred much less do I hate him..."
"I knew you didn't actually hate him but then why did you say you did? And why did you tell him to 'stay out of your life'?"
"Because he's so bloody irritating! But you don't understand… I….I think I love Alfred…"
Alfred knocked lightly on the hotel room door praying that Arthur would answer.
"Oh... Hello Alfred…"
"Iggy please I'm sorry okay! I don't want you to be mad at me anymore because… Because I love you Iggy! There I said it! I love you Arthur Kirkland! So please, please, please don't be mad at me anymore!"
"Shut up Alfred…"
"But-"
Alfred couldn't finish his sentence because it was cut off by Arthur pressing their lips together. The kiss surprised Alfred but he soon had his arms wrapped around the shorter blonde's waist, kissing him back.
"You… love me… to?" Alfred asked in breaks in the kiss.
"…. Yes now hush. You talk too much."
The two continued kissing for what seemed like an eternity. They ended up with Arthurs back to the wall and Alfred's arms wrapped around Arthur's waist with one hand on his bum.
"Ohohohohon~"
The two practically flew apart from each other as the Frenchman's laugh rang in their ears.
"F-Francis! Wh-what are ya doing here?"
"Well i came to talk to Angleterre but it seems I've interrupted something~"
"No not at all..." Alfred looked at Arthur with a hurt expression.
"Nothing at all?" Alfred was now staring at Arthur with the same hurt look on his face.
"Eh, alright you did interrupt something... Now what is it you want?"
"Oh it's not important... I'll just leave you two to that then~"
