Here's another MadCaptain! Just getting used to writing it before I write a longer fic.

Why wouldn't Jefferson stop dancing? It was driving Killian crazy to not go up to him and just…argh! Damn Jefferson and his…sexiness. Really, he should have expected this from the leader of the school's dance team, but, still!

"Killian, what're you looking at?" he heard Jefferson call, dancing his way over to his friend.

Killian remained where he was, leaning against the gym wall.

"I hate school dances…" Killian grumbled.

"You just say that because you don't have anyone to dance with," teased Jefferson, copying the other boy's stance.

"Shut up."

Jefferson laughed. "Oh, come on! It's a school dance! All you have to do is flail."

"No. It's embarrassing."

Jefferson raised a black eyebrow. Oh, sure, dance in Jefferson's room like a pro, but refuse to do anything in front of anyone else.

"What about when 'your song' comes on?"

"Hahah, no."

Jefferson rolled his eyes at the scruffy boy. Why was he being so…difficult? Was he just worried about his reputation or something? Lame.

"If we were somewhere else, would you dance?"

"Probably," muttered Killian, looking around.

Jefferson smiled and grabbed Killian's hand pulling him from the gym and behind the stage curtains.

"Here," said Jefferson, grinning.

Killian wrinkled his nose, barely able to see the good-looking dancer in the darkness.

"What the hell, Jeff?"

"I wanna dance with my friend. Oh, hey…there's your favorite song."

From the other side of the curtains, Any Way You Want It played. There were whoops of happiness from the dance floor. The song was popular. Killian smiled.

"Alright, Jeff," he said. "I'll dance."

For the duration of the song, the two did their usual sort of flailing moves, just messing around. Then, a new song came on. Killian didn't recognize it for a moment before Jefferson started humming it. It was a song from when they were younger, and one that all the girls were squealing at. Beauty and the Beast was going through the speakers, and both boys knew that there would be kissing soon.

"Gold and Belle got their theme song," said Jefferson quietly, grinning.

Killian chuckled and reached for Jefferson's hand. Hey, if the guy wanted to dance with him, you could damn well bet that they would.

"Wha?" he heard Jefferson gasp.

"You said you wanted to dance, Jeff."

Jefferson gave no response, just let Killian lead them around behind the curtains. At least Killian was dancing, even if he was pressed up against him. For a while, there was absolute silence through basically the whole building as everyone danced with whoever they wanted. If it wouldn't have ruined the moment, Jefferson would look out into the crowd to check if Victor and his brother were just flailing while nobody looked, like usual.

"What're you looking at the curtains for, Jeff?" asked Killian quietly, turning Jefferson's head back to him gently.

"Just…thinking."

"About what?"

Jefferson thought for a moment then leaned forward to kiss his dancing partner.

"That."

Killian chuckled, his breath ghosting against Jefferson's mouth.

"You liar. But thanks."

Jefferson grinned into the kiss that Killian was giving him. But, still, under all that happiness, he still had to wonder.

Seriously, was Victor flailing as awesomely as last year?

And done! More fluff and now mentions of dear old Doctor Whale…Frankenstein. Seriously, I can't be the only one thinking that he's a flailer. And yes, Jefferson's a bit ADD, but he's the Mad Hatter, so give him some slack.
