my first fan fic i know i'm probably a really bad writer but either way...

The ice apparition was walking down the isolated streets to reach the path that would take her to Genkai's temple. She had a strange feeling that she was being watched but she had no idea why. As she continued walking she began remembering what happened today while she went to go retrieve groceries with Kuwabara.

Yukina and Kuwabara had run into each other. (A/n)(Yeah right more like he followed her there and acted like he ran into her.) So he helped her find where everything was. The only strangest part of the grocery shopping was that there was a man who you couldn't even see his face went up and stared at Yukina and then ran off. Kuwabara had wanted to go after him but Yukina told him not to.

The rest of the trip was nice Kuwabara bought her a bouquet of flowers when the were walking back to the path. Kuwabara and Yukina ran into Yusuke who was heading towards the arcade. Yukina saw how much Kuwabara wanted to go so she offered to walk the rest of the way alone. Yusuke wasn't so sure about it until she said just go I'll be fine.

She had barely reached the beginning of the path that would eventually lead to the stairs. As she continued the feeling of being watched still was there and the sound of a twig snapping in the forest startled her. Yukina stopped in her tracks because that simple twig snap sent a chill down her spine. She glanced around and saw nothing and continued walking but picked up the pace. There were other noises but Yukina decided to ignore them and walk forward. Then she felt as if something was behind her when suddenly it disappeared. Instead of finding a demon standing behind her she simply found Kurama and Hiei standing there looking at her. "Hello." Yukina said with her warm smile.

"Hello Yukina how are you today?" Kurama replied gently.

"Fine and how about your day?"

"Nothing much we just decided to stop by and visit."

"That's good and how was your day Hiei?"

"Fine." Hiei responded quickly.

The 3 continued the rest of the way up towards the temple. None really spoke with each other Yukina was listening to the noises that nature made she felt safe and at peace and the feeling of being watched and passed right when she saw Hiei and Kurama. They finally reached Genkai's temple and Yukina went to the kitchen to put away the groceries. Kurama and Hiei went and sat down in the living room just staring at the wall. Genkai opened the door and entered the room, "So is the demon taking care of?"

"Yes, Hiei took care of it easily." Kurama told the old woman.

"Did it hurt Yukina?"

"No she was perfectly fine not a hair out of place as far as we could tell."

"Well that's good." She said as she was leaving the room, "Hiei you should probably wash your clothes the have some blood on them."

"Hn." he said simply as he got up and went to go wash his clothes, "Kurama, can you go be sure that the body is undetectable we don't want Yukina to be worried."

"Sure." the kitsune responded.

Hiei left the room to go wash his clothes and Kurama went to go check that the body was well disposed of. Neither had noticed that Yukina was outside the hall by the room and heard every single word. She realized that she had been followed by a demon and that Hiei and Kurama had saved her but they didn't want her to know. "Thank you." She whispered as she turned back around and went to her room to sleep.
