Chapter 1
Days on the cold-blooded sea... full of torture and pain, attacks by giant man eating squid. The only thing that could make this horrid adventure better, was the discovery of land. I noticed a scared crew member running towards me, fear etched across her face.
"Captain Nathan, reported sightings of man-eating squid have been reported near the port deck," a distressed crew member quickly rambled to me.
"Its alright Kyla, we've gone through them once... we can do it again!" I shouted with great power. I quickly ran to the port deck, grabbing my trusty stone sword while running to round up the rest of the crew. As soon as everyone was in one place, I told them what Kyla had told me, that there were man-eating squids and that we needed to quickly exterminate them before they exterminated us.
It was ten minutes before I located everybody, but as soon as we were all in one place, I started giving commands.
"Corrin, Kyla, you two will go into the life rafts and scout out for the squids," I commanded sternly, "Gerado and Jake, you two will collect everyone's armour and weapons and meet Corrin and Kyla in the life raft while I'll meet you after finishing some business". After the crew began to follow orders, I ran into my office as quickly as possible grabbing a miniscule capsule, running out of the office panting, a surprise awaiting me.
The crew members had been ripped apart limb from limb.
