Castlevania - Prince of Bloodmoon
This story is a sequel to Castlevania - The Wolf's Bride (not released yet)
The night was cold and lonely, its atmosphere dived the forest into a dark, mysterious and lifeless place. It was silent like everyone was dead, not even a bird was flying around. She just heard her own words.
"In the name of god, of father, of Jesus Christ..." And she did the Our Father above the dead woman. The corpse's neck had tiny holes from which blood leaked out.
Two tiny holes.
1.
After burying the unknown, young woman, Selena Fernandez continued her march through the Forest of Silence. She didn't feel herself well, she was tired and wanted to have some sleep. After managed to climb down from a high wall she entered a clearing. This clearing was the only place which was full of bright shines of the moon and they fell down on Selenas long, black hair. Hoping to find a quick rest there, she made a step forward when she noticed that she wasn't alone.
There was a high rock and someone standing on it. Selena couldn't see the person correctly, but was afraid that he or she could be a vampire or a demon. Especially a vampire- the poor young woman that Selena buried had doubtless been a victim of a vampire.
Carefully she shot a magic orb in the direction, but it pursued not the person. So he or she seemed to be a human.
Like her mother, Salaria, and her grandmother Camilla she owned magic powers which could follow evil creatures. All three of them were descendants of the famous vampire-hunter clan Fernandez as the Belmonts.
But when she shot the magic orb, the person noticed her presence and turned around. Selenas mouth fell open.
The person was male; his bright, blue eyes froze the blood in her veins, his face was beautiful, clear and pale, almost too white, but his lips were intensive red. The light-blond hair seemed wild, the elegant, black coat showed that he came from a rich family. He was very tall.
"Is anbody there?", he asked, the voice full of seduction.
Ashamed, Selena tried to creep back, but it was too late.
"Why is a girl in this forest, on that late hour?"
"Is that your business?", she gave back.
"Oh sorry, miss, I didn't think that girls are so nasty!"
Selena came nearer and stared angrily to him. Maybe he was a weirdo or even a pervert? "Who are you? What are you doing here?"
"They call me Teddy", he grinned, "nice to meet you...or maybe not."
Selena stepped forward and almost fell down. He started to laugh. Despite her anger, she asked him: "Anyways, you shouldn't stay here. A woman died of a vampire attack. I don't know if they're still around."
He glanced over her and his smile turned into a hard line. "Excuse me, miss, who are you?"
"A vampire hunter."
His smiled came back again. "So? Well, I didn't see anyone around. Actually you can't tell me this. A girl has nothing to do in this forest, even with a cross around her neck."
Her anger swallowed her respect and she exclaimed angry: "How dare you? You fool! If a vampire gets you, I don't mind then!"
Teddy jumped down and came a bit closer, and automatically, Selenas heart started to beat faster.
The moonlight let his eyes shine like an ocean.
"You're cute. Do you want to tell me your name?"
"No."
"Say!"
His request urged her so much that she gasped: "Selena Fernandez."
"Allright, my dear. It was a pleasure to meet you. I hope we see each other again." After these words he walked into forest and disappeared.
