Summary: McGee gets a warning from Tony about Abby ... and for once the rookie knows that Tony isn't joking.

AN: Told mostly from McGee's POV.

Tony slapped him on the shoulder as they left the office, "So, McGee, I hear that you and Abby are getting close to your six month anniversary, right?"

"That's right, Tony. What about it?"

Tony smiled and stopped him just outside of the building, "Well, seeing as neither the boss or Ducky are here, I see it as my right and responsibility to inform you of what will happen to you if you ever break her heart." The smile that seemed to be worn everywhere by Tony disappeared and he glared at me. It was a glare that I would expect from Gibbs, maybe Kate, Ducky on the outside, but never Tony and it made me very nervous. "You break her heart, I'll break your legs, Little Timmy. Then I'll start on your arms, ribs, and then maybe I'll let it go at that ... and then I'll hand you over to Kate, and then she'll hand you over to Gibbs and then we'll hand what's left of you over to Ducky for disposal."

I couldn't help but sigh, "Tony, please, don't joke about this. I want to make Abby a happy woman and I don't like these kinds of joke."

"Who said he was joking, McGee?" I jumped at Gibbs' voice as he snuck up on me like he sneaks up on everyone. "You started without me, Tony."

Tony shrugged, "Sorry, Boss, but remember that it is better to warm them up first before you lay into them instead of starting cold turkey."

Gibbs nodded as Kate and Ducky walked up, "True enough, DiNozzo. Now, Agent McGee, let me tell you how this works – Abby gets hurt in any way because of you, they never find your body."

"Seconded," Kate chipped in.

"Motion carries," Ducky said, holding his briefcase. "Actually, the idea of threatening the paramour of the favored daughter of a clan dates back to..."

"Duck, let's finish this first." Gibbs goes on and I can feel my throat begin to tighten, "Anyway, McGee, just think REALLY hard before you do anything ... untoward with Abby. The life you save may be your own." With that said, the quartet left the reception area and left me alone to contemplate my future with Abby – I had not doubt in my mind that they would follow through on their threats, but the question was, would I be dead before I got to Ducky?

AN: This one just popped in my head, ladies and gents, and I needed the space it was taking up. R&R, if you want.
