A/N: This story was inspired by that Vine Batdad made about his daughter Sienna, and my fingers got that familiar tingling once again, and I knew I just had to write something! And I managed something, albeit not perfect. But hey, I got to enjoy writing again so there's that.

Disclaimer: Nothing is mine.

'Royal Faith'

Looking at her was like looking at her mother. Her dark brown hair, emerald eyes and beautiful smile were almost identical to the love of his life's. Funnily enough, both were as easy to read as a children's book when they weren't trying to conceal their feelings enough.

"Faith," he whispered. Her head nodded a little bit but he knew it was not in confirmation of his calling. He tried it again, this time a little louder. "Faith."

Her eyelids closed half-way through. A smile spread across his face. She was so like her mother.

"May I have your attention, Princess Faith the Magnificent?"

"Hmm?" Her small head turned around bringing with it her soft dark curls. Her eyes were still almost closed.

"It's time for bed."

She responded with a mere pout, opening her eyes fully to work her trained puppy eyes.

"But daddy…"

He looked at her a little more, at how much she represented Teresa. And for her three years of experience in life, she was remarkably smart. He sighed and motioned for her to come closer to him, which she did.

"Just ten more minutes, alright."

She flashed her bright white teeth at him and gave him a kiss on his cheek.

"Don't tell your mother, Princess. What do you want to do with these extra minutes?"

She cuddled into his side, and he knew his answer. Needless to say, a few minutes later she was fast asleep. As he carried her to her castle themed bedroom, he passed his queen on her way to the living room. She looked down to his arms and smiled.

"For this one time, I will forgive you for not sticking to bedtime."

"I will be forever in your debt, Your Highness."

She flashed her bright white teeth at him and gave him a kiss on his lips. As they passed each other by without another word, he felt at home, felt loved and cared for.

What a beautiful life he had right now.

A/N: Hope you enjoyed that! Leave a review if so to let me know, and have a nice day/evening!
