Guilts

Darkness. Shadows everywhere. One could not make out the beginning, or the possible ending of the place, no matter how hard they would try to. Possibly the only still imperceptibly visible thing, though that too swallowed in the vast dark mist consuming the cavern, was a crumbled figure sobbing quietly in the corner.

Go...go away!Leave me alone!

I will never leave you, for you, oh so stubbornly, keep me...

I HATE YOU!

I know...it's yourself you hate...

LIAR!

Another desperate cry and a high-pitched sob echoed through the empty, desolate place. She was feeling alone, isolated and forgotten, unable to move and walk out with her head high, face the consequences of what she had done, and try to make things right, if possible. She felt betrayed, but the only true betrayer was herself...

Because I'm inside you, you can't hide from yourself...

The scene changed.

A merciless storm was bending down the trees and making the sea mad with rage and she was standing there, on top of the hill, waiting for...something.

He will never come...

Because you hurt him and now he disgusts you, and you disgust yourself, pathetic little crybaby, always worse than your sister even in the matters of your own heart...and his heart, which you took and tore apart...thus locking your self in a world of isolation and pain, thinking you can simply walk away...like you always did.

Yet there is still hope...

A labyrinth. Deep and gigantic, with her trapped in the middle. And she ran, yes, she ran, to no avail. There is no escape from this prison, not when the dead ends are just the darkest corners of one's mind...

Then...light. Sudden light overwhelmed her tear-shuddering form, consuming her, indulging her into relieving warmth she so longed for.

And bright jade eyes locked with her oak ones, as he brought his hands up at her face, gently cupping her wet cheeks and wiping her tears away. Like he always does...

I love you, please don't cry mi tomate...he whispered.

I love you...they said in unison.

I love you

I love you

I love you...

The whisper was repeated, travelling into the air, again and again, like the holiest of chants.

I know what to do...

Lovina stirred in her sleep and a sigh escaped her lips. Hazel eyes opened, to remain half-lidded as they encountered the bright morning sun. She stayed like this for a moment, simply basking in the playful orange and yellow sun rays infiltrating through the window. Another sudden stir next to her and a lazy yawn made her look at her side. Her sight was still bleary from sleep and the lack of glasses, but she could understand one hundred percent what was going on.

He hadn't left.

''A-Antonio? But-''

The brown-haired man gently put his finger on her lips, affectionately shushing her.

''I forgive you...'' Like he always does...

The warmth she had felt before in her dream covered her once again and made her heart melt, as she smiled, and she managed to utter just three, simple to say, but so very complicated words, before she drifted off to sleep once again.

''I love you...bastard''

Oh, yeah. Four words.

The Spaniard laughed softly and enveloped the slim body of the now sleeping woman, in his arms, her auburn messy hair pleasantly tickling his nose.

''I love you too. More than anything...'' And i will never, ever leave you...

A peak on the forehead and a wish for good sleep.

And this sleep's dreams were full of rainbows, tomato fields, and much, much light.

The End

Sleep well :)
