The tracker. I could see him standing in the end of the corridor .He pointed at me, but I couldn't hear him. My head felt wizzy and my forehead was burning. It was a such pain, that my legs failed and then everything went black.
"Zoeybird, one day you shall be
what I always have known you will
and you shall make me proud
cause your my little bird."
I loved to hear my grandmothers song. It made me warm, but now it felt like only empty words.
My forehead was still burning but my head wasn't hurting anymore. I was laying on a soft bead and could feel a worm hand against my sweat. As I opened my eyes, the light was so strong, that I had to pinch my eyes to see anything.
The room was unclear at first, but when I cleared my eyes, I could see a dark blue-green wall with black scrolls.
