"I wonder when Gajeel is going to return from that job Natsu and he took." Levy thought to herself. Lucy approached her noticing the look on her face.
"Hey Levy, is everything okay?" Lucy asked.
"Oh hello Lucy, yeah everything is fine, why?" Levy replied.
"No reason it's just that you looked like something was troubling you. By the way, do you want to come over to my place to hang for a bit, just seems like a perfect time since we have those dragon slayers out of our hair for a bit."
"Yeah sure, sounds like fun." Levy and Lucy left the guild and walked over to Lucy's apartment in the cold snow. The whole way there Levy couldn't stop thinking about Gajeel. When they walked in Levy sat on the bed.
"Lucy?" Levy asked.
"Yeah, what is it?" Lucy replied.
"I have to tell you something important." Levy said.
"Okay." Lucy replied comfortingly.
"I have feelings for Gajeel." Levy said timidly, her voice quivering with fear of being judged.
"You what!" Lucy screamed in shock.
"Well it does make since."
"What do you mean?" Levy asked in utter confusion.
"I mean every time I look over at you, you seem to be staring at Gajeel and when he fights with Natsu you can't but help to smile." Lucy explained. Levy quickly looked at the floor; her face was as red as a fresh tomato.
"Well I just think it's really cute when he gets all mad and stuff." Levy started to think about the things he always did for her and how he protected her.
"He's really nice to me and sweet in his own sort of way. I really like him, but he probably doesn't feel the same way."
"The only way to know for sure is to ask. Come on let got back to the guild and see he's there." Lucy sprang up and grabbed Levy by the hand. They left Lucy's apartment and coincidentally ran into Natsu and Gajeel on the way there. They were all bandaged up as usual and Natsu was out cold on Gajeel's shoulder.
"Hey guy's, how was the job?" Lucy asked.
"Everything was fine until we had to fight those ice magic users. Then Natsu started to eat their attacks." Gajeel said. Levy tugged on Gajeel's sleeve.
"Um I need to talk to you." Levy said, not once looking up at him.
"Okay, um Lucy can you hold him?"
"Sure." She through Natsu's arm over her shoulders and took off.
"What's the problem shrimp?" Gajeel asked. Levy didn't look at him for what felt like forever. Finally she looked at him then closed her eyes and shouted.
"Gajeel I'm in love with you!" her face was so red it resembled Erza's hair.
"I know you don't feel the same so please- "Before she could finish her sentence Gajeel kissed her. Time stood still and they disappeared into their own little world. Levy felt the warmth of his lips and the cold sting of the metal piercings in his chin. When he pulled away she saw how handsome he was in the snow.
"No one ever said I didn't have feelings for you. Now let's get back to the guild before you freeze out here." He grabbed her hand and they walked to the guild together. Gajeel looked down at her smiling face and couldn't help to smile noticing how beautiful she was as the snowflakes trickled down her face. When they got to Fairy Tail the guild went into an up roar. It was official, they were a couple now.
