If I was depressed would you...
The sound and smell of rusty metal filled the air. Sam, with his arms harnessed up unable to move was woke by the sound of his own vomit gargling in his throat, he fell forwards with the vomit spilling out on to the floor and creating the most inhuman smell. He looked up noticing he was suspended from the ceiling by his arms, as a fire ignited he came to his senses and frantically started screaming for help, he soon realised no one was going to save him. A TV flicked on with a puppet on the screen slowly turning its head so its black crater eyes so it met his. "hello Sam, I want to play a game, all your life you have been putting people down, so much they are driven to suicide and you can walk around pretending nothing happened." A light comes on revealing a series of pictures of dead people lying in blood, vomit; you could almost smell and taste the death. The puppet continued. "Now today you must put yourself down, you have 5 minutes, every minute you waste, you waste a limb, live or die Sam, you decide." Then at that moment he noticed that if he struggled with his arms he got closer to the fire and as he got closer he noticed a key in the fire, so he pulled his towards himself but at that speed, his leg, all of a sudden pulled with such force it came clean off and unable to grasp it he continued, whimpering in pain. He was getting closer now, closer and closer and closer... he finally got down in the blistering heat and placed the harness lock over the key and he was free! But his leg was now chugging out blood so he forced himself to put it into the fire to try to seal it up with the heat, it burnt him so much, but he has to keep it there to seal it up. Finally, his wound sealed he was screaming at the top of his voice it was sizzling and bubbling, basically boiling, it hurt so much he vomited again. He then noticed a tape recorder taped to his arm, with the message 'play me' he hesitated for a moment, all he could hear was the flickering flames and his own breathing, heavier then the burden he's been carrying for years. He pressed play. It was the terrible, deep voice of the puppet. "Hello again Sam, you must be in agonising pain, but I have yet another task for you." The flames extinguished. "laying before you is one of the people you have hurt so much, they are alive, for now, what you must do is kill, you can indirectly kill but now for your freedom you must directly kill, it's no different you have 60 seconds before the door permanently locks itself, the person has the key in their head." The taped stopped and right away Sam found a pipe he could use for a crutch and hopped over to the person and kicked them and threw them against the walls and before long the floor was covered in blood and Sam was crawling around in brains and he had found the key, he stumbled over to the door and escaped. Hanging from the ceiling was another tape, he pressed play. "you have done well Sam you may go free but before you do, you have just killed your wife." Sam ran to the door and started screaming for help. But before he knew it he was unconscious. And slowly died. THE END by Steven Shaw.
