"!"

Sam was running like she had never ran before, stumbling on roots, grass, air, whatever was standing between her and her beloved Jack. As soon as she reached him, she looped her arms around his neck, and they both fell backward in a heap of leaves and happy shrieks. It was autumn already, their parents were glad, because it could probably have been far worse.

"I keep thinking we definitely didn't make a mistake when naming those two." Janet chuckled as she watched her two twins hug after half a day away in their respective activities. Daniel nodded at his wife, looping a arm around her waist, trying not to laugh at the looks on his best friends' faces.

"It's not even funny." Jack pouted.

"No, it's not." Sam emphasized.

They then burst into a fit of laugher that had Cassie giving up on trying to tickle Sam. There was no need, really. She searched for yet another target, and only found the Kel'No'Reeming Teal'c, and realized her siblings were far better targets. Moreover, they couldn't tackle her to the floor. Yet. Even the both of them together. Something was telling her she definitely should fully appreciate that while it lasted.

She let her godparents laugh their ribcage off, ending in each other's arms for support, both their glance still on the two, adorable, twins. They were three, and their ability to get into trouble was already outstanding. They had warned the parents when they had chosen the names, but who would have listened to a couple who could already barely tear their eyes from one another? Certainly not another couple in the same state, with an extra burden of two tiny but shiny lives in their arms.

Everyone was happy and, or, Kel'No'reeming, all was for the best.

"They 'are' cute." Sam pointed out.

"Yep." Jack answered. Their parents shook their head, looking over to their kissing friends. They sure were, but the situation was also quite laughable.

"You're all cute." Cassie stated, everyone agreeing with her.

"Now what about going inside, catching a cold isn't cute, and I know one doctor in medicine who'll agree with me." Cassie grinned at her mother who shook her head, and shooed the babbling twins into the house, soon followed by the rest of their happy family. Who would have known, all those years ago, that it would end this way?
