It was big.
"THIS. IS. CRAY-CRAY."
It was hairy.
"IT MOVED!"
And it was the Hufflepuffs and Gryffindors trying out a new spell on their first day of Hogwarts, which started the big mess.
"EXPECTO MONKEYO POTATO LIVO AWESOMEO GIGANTICUS PATROLEUM! …O!"
A huge monkey (dressed as a… blue potato (?) with the glittering words of 'I'M AN AWESOME DONKEY' printed high above its head) gently scratched its potato encrusted noggin in confusion- as, well, the rest of the people in the general area did the same exact thing.
"…Were you aiming for an ape, Albus?"
The young boy shook his head and peered at the animal, who stared back at Albus with the same amount of interest.
"…Well this is interesting." Rose Weasley gently patted Albus Potter on the head- much to his distaste, as he tried to swipe his cousin's hand away- and gently prodded Alice Longbottom away from the scene, the other girl shaking and shivering as she stared at the monkey.
"I'M AFRAID OF MONKEIES AND POTATOS- I THOUGHT YOU KNEW THAT ALBUS!" Alice cried as she was escorted out of the room with another one of her dorm mates. "WHY ALBUS- WHY!?"
Albus gulped as he stared at Flitwick's small form standing in front of him, the half-goblin's eyebrow raised.
"Care to explain this, Mr. Potter?"
The green eyed boy shook his head as he stared forlornly at the ape. "I don't even know Professor. I don't even know."

I don't own any part shape or form of Harry Potter, and if I did, well... you'd be very scared.
