A/N: I guess this is what has destroyed my writer's block? While I'm not personally Ukyo's fan, my friend liked him and I don't know how, but this popped into my head. I guess I just relate to characters that are passionate? Also, does the Heroine have an actual name? Or at least a fan-made name?

His eye normally strays to that which embodies beauty. For instance, the curve of the seductive hills during the summer and the winking of the constellations during the winter. While two different subjects, they still have that one trait that connects them: beauty. Most can look at these subjects every day and night and remain indifferent to them, but Ukyo sees them for what is truly there.

As a photographer, usually Ukyo's subjects remain true to nature; nature is consistent and always provides enough variety that Ukyo is able to remain satisfied. He has never found such beauty in a person though and that was why he was so surprised when he first laid eyes on her. She had the most captivating eyes and yet their hue is what conveyed her personality to him – the calm gesture they presented was alluring.

It was definitely strange to him, yes, but even more surprising was when he was the one who spoke to her and begun their relationship.

All it took was an entire summer with beach filled days and cool breezes at night until the two winded up as lovers. By the end of summer when the trees started to discard their colorful dress the pair had found themselves in a park on one of the many benches. Speech was absent from their get together, but words were never necessary to convey how they felt.

As she was tucking her hair behind her ears in a neat fashion and trying to decode images in the the clouds through her squinted eyes, Ukyo's eyes remained focused on the girl in admiration.

"Is something on my face?" She inquired when she noticed his gaze which was followed by a shallow laugh.

"No," He replies with an easy smile because he knows that he would never allow anything to ruin the beauty of her face.

She gives but a simple nod and returns to her previous activity until the final moments of the sun and the sky becomes the canvas of many glorious colors. As routine between them, Ukyo begins to walk the girl home while remaining distracted by his thoughts. Thoughts of how her silky hair feels when it passes through his fingers as he combs through it or how the way it only gets that texture with how much she focuses on using an actual comb to smooth it out.

Stuck in his thought process, Ukyo instinctively grabbed his camera and snapped a shot of her, thrilled by the way the sun highlighted her hair yet kept her face darkened – the halo effect was always his favorite on her. Then she instinctively protested valiantly as she reached urgently for the camera while laughing louder than her usual whisper of a laugh. Ukyo retaliated by avoiding her easily and returning a hearty laugh. He knew she would protest about this until the end of their days together, but it was worth it for one reason: he just wants to capture the beauty of his world.
