Ok, so this is the shortest thing I've ever written. But I thought about Ryuga's expression when he turned around and left Yu to battle Reji. So I decided to write it. Hope you enjoy
Ryuga stood watching the battle. Yu was powerful, but was losing to Reji slowly and painfully. Yu was fell to his knees and looked up at Ryuga. Ryuga's expression tensed. He knew what happened next. Unimaginable pain, sadness, anger, and Ryuga couldn't stand to watch. Yu called out to him, but Ryuga knew he couldn't stop it. This was Doji's idea, not his, and he had to admit that he was, in a small way, afraid of Doji. He could feel Doji giving him an evil glare, telling him that he couldn't help. But that didn't mean he had to stay. He wanted to give him a sad look, he really did, but Doji would beat him about it later. So he simply turned around and walked out. He stopped just outside the door as he heard Yu crying and swore that he could feel every tear like a dagger stabbing him in the heart.
He clentched his fists. He didn't ask for this! He didn't ask for it! He looked at L'Drago and he glowed that purple glow he always did. Ryuga's feelings of remorse disappeared and he stood up straight. Yu wasn't important, if Doji said he was a tool, he was a tool, and nothing more to Ryuga than that. And why should he be? He was a worthless child! Nothing but a worthless child! Ryuga smirked and walked away.
...
Ryuga stood grasping L'Drago in his hand as he watched Yu and Kenta laughing together as the whole team walked down the street. His grasp tightened as he turned around and walked away. The kid was better off, way better off than he ever was with him and Ryuga was, in a way, happy for him. What he did to him was horrible and uncalled for. Yu reached out to him and he didn't bother to help him. If he hated him for the rest of his existance Ryuga wouldn't blame him in the least.
So what do you think? Tell me honestly in your review! ^-^
P.S When I say beat, I mean as in physical. Not as in yelling at him and stuff. Although they would be a lot of that too.
