Ode To Mother Russia

BY: Hazuki Katsuragi

O Mother Russia

The Fairest land of all

You wrap us in a Blanket

Of Warm snow

In the summer, spring,

And even in the fall

Your sister, Mother Volga

Though Dashing she may be

Holds no compare

Over your land so fair

Even though

It only seems that way to me

The Mongols those ancestors

Who tried to invade

Were Defeated and left

Because your fighting

was O so great

And the Tartars

Those guys that destroyed

Everything insight

Were finally defeated

After having a tummy ache

In their bed one night

I love you Mother Russia

And your land O so barren

With Siberian Tigers,

Manmade rivers,

And ice by the thousands

I do believe though

However empty you may seem

I myself love your

Extraordinary Symmetry

Now pray tell

Of Napoleon who

Not once but twice

Tried to conquer you

So you fought back

Entrapping him

In your winter so cold

And sending his men

Back to France

That land of wine

Covered in ice

And who else remembers

All the many Tsars of old

In the castles

Topped by Kisses

And their empire of cold

Then there's that revolution

Which your people

Against you they lead

Killing off the empire

With a sense of dread

What about Stalingrad

On that fateful day

You and the Germans

Stayed all night awake

Until finally you sent them

Those miserable soldiers

Crying home

To Daddy Germany

While you admist all the joy

Cleaned up the mess

Accepted the termoial

And took care of your people

And who can forget

The cold hand that stayed

Protecting your Country

While holding America at bay

And what about Stalin

Who played with fate

Prolonging his reign

Until, for you and your people

It was much too late

So where are you now?

Covered in your snow?

Whilst I sit here and type

About all your misfortune

Dear Mother Russia

It should please you to know

In America it's warm

Whist in Soviet Russia

It's forever cold

OK so yeah, I know it's a bit mean, but i think it's also a bit funny...
