The purple-haired boy sighed. Today had been a total disaster. Honestly, was it even possible for the Student Council to meet and actually have a meeting? Without all the drama?

Okay, so maybe Machi had mad a bit of a mess. But really, Kakeru made worse chaos all the time. There was no reason for Nao to blow up at her like that. And Kimi… okay, there's a time for humor and there's a time for seriousness. Is that really so hard to understand?

Yuki muttered something under his breath. He really didn't want to go home right now. Home meant Kyo giving Tohru the goo-goo eyes and Shigure making dirty comments. No, he didn't want to deal with that at the moment. Even if he'd realized that what he felt for Tohru was more a child-like affection, he still didn't want to see her positive responses to Kyo's blockheaded advances (if you could call them that.).

He paused, blinking in confusion at the form a few feet ahead of him. Machi was sitting on the side of the road in nothing but her school uniform, gazing up at the falling snow.

"Hey." Yuki greeted. Machi jumped slightly, but sent him a shy smile. "I hope the snow piles up soon." Yuki commented. Machi jerked in surprise, giving him a startled glance before relaxing and smiling gratefully.

"Yes." She half-whispered. "I hope it does."

Sorry if they're OOC. I haven't read Fruits Basket in a while, but I had the sudden urge to write a YukiXMachi fic.
