I was running far, far away. This new, uh...development...could cause chaos. What happened, you ask? Let me explain...
"Dipper!" I yelled. I was playing hide-and-seek with Dipper. It had been about seven minutes since Dipper had hid. "Okay! I give up!" I felt like I had searched everywhere. As in, everywhere, everywhere. As in, everywhere, everywhere, everywhere. As in, well, I think you get the point. I looked outside. Dipper's hat was on the ground. He never goes anywhere without that tree trucker hat biz, I thought. I went outside to investigate. I stood in front of the hat, staring.
"Oh, hey, Sh-Mabel," A voice greeted.. I turned around. It was Dipper.
"Hey, where were you hiding, Dippingsauce?"
"Who's Dippingsauce?"
"Uh, you!"
"But my name is Pi-Dipper!"
"That's one of your nicknames, you dork!"
"Wha-Oh, now I remember. Duh. How did I forget? Anyway, why would I be hiding?"
"We're playing hide and seek!"
"Oh, yeah."
"Okay, is something wrong?"
"What? Oh, nothing."
"Dipper, you can tell me anything."
"Nothing's wrong." He was slightly annoyed.
"Come on, spit it out!"
"Nothing." He almost threatened.
"Dipper, you know you can't-"
"NOTHING!" Dipper could've made me deaf right then and there. Thank goodness he didn't. "Oh, sorry, Shoo-I mean, Mabel. I lost my temper."
"Whoa, bro-bro. What happened there? And were you about to call me Shooting Star?"
"Yeah, I guess Bill's rubbing off on me. I saw him last week in my dream. He was there for, like, an hour." I checked his pupils. Yep. They were normal.
"So, Bill saw you a week ag-"
"YES! YOU HEARD IT! OF COURSE!" He said in that same volume and tone as last time. In other words, deafening. "Oh, man, I did it again. Sorry, sorry, sorry!" he apologized.
"Okay, something's going on."
"YES, SOMETHING'S GOING ON! I JUST TOLD YOU!" This time it wasn't as loud. Dipper slapped himself. Literally. "Oh, come on! Again?!"
"Dudes, you okay?" I heard Soos ask. "I could hear you dudes from inside. Well, I could hear Dipper, at least."
"Yeah, something's wrong with Dipper. He keeps bursting out in anger. I think it has something to do with Bill. He met him last week," I answered.
"Dude, he's been like that since last week. It's been getting worse." Soos acknowledged.
"Doesn't she know that? She was there!" Dipper replied, irritated.
"I'm just sayi-" Soos started.
"I DON'T CARE!" Dipper screamed. Dipper's voice was even louder than the last ones. "Oh, shut up, Pine Tree!" He shouted to himself. He repeatedly slapped himself, then buried his face in his hands.
"Should we tell the others?" I asked. Too late. Wendy and Stan were already standing there. We had no choice. I glanced at Dipper. He still had his palms in his face.
"Uh, what's going on, guys?" Wendy questioned.
"WELL, WHAT D-" Dipper covered his mouth with two hands.
"Dipper's been acting this way," I explained. "He saw Bill in a dream. I'm not sure what happened in the dream. Dipper, what did happen?"
"WHY D-" Dipper covered his mouth again and ran back into the Mystery Shack.
