I do not own Halo 1, 2, and 3.

Melancholy music sang through the air as a replica of The Autumn sailed on endlessly. On it, were pictures of marines who died in the war, tombstones with their names carved on it.

The surviving marines saluted them and put their left hand on their heart. Prayers and thanks were given, tears falling down with sadness.

(I don't have Halo 3 so I assume that the captain is Admiral.)

Admiral stepped forward and spoke.

"All of us battled hard and scarified ourselves for the freedom of mankind." He looked forward at the pictures. "Don't be sad for their deaths; be happy that such men lived."

He paused. "But there was one man; he sacrificed everything he had to give us freedom. He was the last of his kind, one that shall be honored for everything he had done." Admiral looked over at the remains of Halo, then at one certain tombstone. One with no pictures, but the numbers 117 carved on it. Silence swallowed them but was broken by a soft whisper:

"I can't believe he died."

Yeah me too, I can't believe he died! Sorry if it's too short, or too crappy but I hope you enjoy it. If you were wondering who the person was, it was:

JOHN A.K.A. MASTER CHIEF!

There are some things I should tell you. Some of it is made up but I know for sure that Master Chief died so please don't be mad at me. I don't read the novels (can't find them) and I don't have an Xbox 360 and Halo 3.

Other than that, read and review! Flames are not accepted though advices are.
