A/N- I was watching Glee, the episode where Kurt's dad has a heart attack. And I realized that everyone in life needs their Kurt. The one person who loves you no matter what. That one person who is always honest, sometimes brutally so. I have that person. I actually have two of those people. And I owe them so much. I love them, and they love me, and more importantly, I'm never ashamed of being who I am when I'm around them. That means so much to me. I wanted to thank them, and show them how much I appreciate them. So here it is.
She looked down the halls, crowded with people she didn't know. The familiar sense of deja vu crept up on her. It happened at every new school, every new life.
People flowed around her, not stopping and not noticing. She was just the new girl, someone to stare at in class, but not worth the time in the busy hallway.
Until he looked at her.
They sat together at lunch, that first day. Though whether it was by luck or if they had searched each other out, neither could later say.
What she couldn't explain was how much she trusted him. It wasn't until later that she realized what it was about him that she trust. When she knew him and he knew her.
He knew exactly what it felt like to want what she wanted most from the world. They both wanted someone to always be there for them. Someone to hold them, and someone to love them without exception.
He got it before she did. But that didn't mean that they weren't friends still. He would always be her BBF. He big brother figure. They took care of each other.
The new girl meets the gay guy, and life falls into place.
