Fear; a distressing emotion aroused by impending danger, evil, pain, etc.

Love; a profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person.

"I'm afraid," she whispered, clinging to him tightly.

Eridan's grip tightened. "I-It'll be okay, Nep. Gamzee wwill snap out of it. I knoww he wwill."

honk.

Nepeta whimpered, burying her face in Eridan's chest. The honks were getting closer to them, and they had nowhere to go. If they went through the door, they'd run into the maniacal clown, who wants nothing more than to paint the walls with their colored blood.

HONK.

She whimpered, and put her hands on her face, sobbing.

Nepeta was going to die. And there was nothing she could do about it. Her once sweet friend, Gamzee, was going to kill her. And both her and her matesprite were awaiting death, waiting till their time came.

honk.

Eridan wrapped his arms around Nepeta, shielding her from the oncoming troll. She had barely made it out before. Gamzee had just killed Equius then, and Nepeta gave the clown three scratches along his face. That had bought her enough time to run out, and run into Eridan, sobbing to him the entire story. This time, Nepeta was surely going to die. But he couldn't bear to see her get killed.

He wants to die first.

HONK.

Honk.

HONK.

honk.

MOTHERFUCKING HONK.

Nepeta wailed, as the door burst open, and Gamzee stood there, a crazed look on his face. He was smiling like a madman, and the three purple gashes on his face were dried, but still left ghastly scars.

"now, motherfuckers," Gamzee said, stepping toward them with small strides. "get ready… TO MOTHERFUCKING KNEEL."

He grabbed Nepeta by the wrist, and dragged her up.

"No!" Eridan cried. "Kill me first! Not her! Anyone but her!" Tears were streaming down his pale face.

Gamzee smiled crazily. "sorry, bro. i motherfucking choose." He grasped Nepeta by the head, and raised his club.

Nepeta weakly smiled, green tears rolling down her sweet face, and whispered. "Don't look."

honk.

Eridan shut his eyes.

HONK.

He didn't want to open his eyes. No, not at all. He was hoping that maybe, Karkat or Vriska… or maybe even Terezi had bounded in, and gotten to the murderous clown before he could kill the troll.

But, alas, that is not the case.

Nepeta lay on the floor, her body slice through the middle, horizontally. Her eyes were open, and glassy. The green tears were stained on her face. But one, small tear rolled down her cheek, completing the bloody and tearful project.

Eridan sobbed, and wanted to crawl over to Nepeta, and tell her how much he loved her. He wanted to say that everything was alright. Hell, he wanted her to sit up, and say, "Silly. why are you crying, Ampurrra?"

But that was not the case either. She still lay on the floor, a bloody mess.

Gamzee grabbed Eridan by the shirt, and pulled him up, an evil glint in his eyes.

"AND NOW, MOTHERFUCKER," Gamzee cackled. "YOU'RE NEXT!"

Gamzee raised his club.

Eridan quickly looked at Nepeta, before shedding a tear, and saying, "Till death do us part."

Then there was silence.

All that was heard throughout the building, were the sinister honks of the crazed clown.
