Knowing Her

(This is my take on what was going on in the ending of Episode 3: Snow Falls, from his point of view)
Waking up should have been easy. You just open your eyes to the new morning. But when he woke up there was an unfamiliar surroundings. Waking up he knew he shouldn't have been there. He knew somebody needed his help so he left.
He went to where he felt he was needed. He needed to rescue his princess.
It wasn't a rational thought. But he'd just woke up from a several year coma – what did anyone want?
When he finally had full cognizance he was waking up to a crying woman who was claiming to be his wife. Though he didn't know a lot he about himself – like his name, where he lived, what he liked – he knew that the blonde was not his wife. He didn't even know her. Something told him that she was not his wife, never had been.
Maybe they'd been engaged once but he had never married her.
She pulled him into a hug as the others left and he hesitantly placed a hand around her. It was as awkward as two strangers would expect no matter what she said.
Then he saw her…
Short dark hair. Soft round face. Bright Blue eyes. He saw her and he knew. He didn't know anything else but he knew her. Whoever she was, she was the woman he was meant to be with. He didn't know why he felt that way.
Whoever she was, he knew that she was where he belonged.
