Chapter 1: A New Beginning
XXXXXxxxxx Line Break xxxxxXXXXX
"...Aaaarrghh…" I groaned loudly, holding my forehead from the splitting headache one gets when they leap off a hundred and twenty storey building.
...Wait a sec. How am I still alive?...
Joints popping as I slowly forced myself to sit up, I looked about wildly, narrowing my eyes in confusion while the migraine faded gradually.
I was lying on a golden flowerbed, in some sorta weird, deep cavern.
A cavern which seemed… familiar. Far too familiar for my comfort zone.
'This… This can't be Hell… Or is it?...'
I stood up. It was a mistake.
"W-Woah…!" I fell back down on my butt, rubbing my head. I was still woozy.
...Hold on. I looked down at my own body, blinking.
Beads of sweat started forming on my features.
'I… I'M A GIRL NOW?!'
My girlish scream echoed throughout the cavern.
XXXXXxxxxxLineBreakxxxxxXXXXX
"...O-kay…" I shifted uncomfortably in my new body as I moved through the caverns.
I was getting a really strange sense of deja vu from this place, and it was not helping my confusion.
Then I found myself staring at a glowing gold star in front of me, flickering as if awaiting my touch.
I blinked again. And again. My lips parted, spewing some inaudible words.
"Uhh…" I reach forward, touching the star. The more than familiar sound of Saving greeted me, and a red heart shimmered into existence over my breast. My red eyes opened wide as I stared at it, the gold star dispersing into countless bits of light before rushing into my Soul.
A screen popped up.
*The shadow of The Ruins loom above, filling you with D.E.T.E.R.M.I.N.A.T.I.O.N.

I swallowed, chuckling, "Yep, definitely in Undertale, except with a few system changes…"
"...What about my Inventory?" I questioned out of curiosity.
I jumped as it abruptly appeared in my face-
What.
The.
Fuck.
I excitedly pulled out the only Item I had - a massive blood-red zweihander - out of the Inventory, equipping it.
It's name read 'Lævateinn'.
'...Holy shit this thing is huge! And light too,' I held up Lævateinn, observing it in awe. I put it upright next to me, the tip of the blade taller than my height. How it was so light I had no clue.
I wiggled my fingers a little, 'Is this body actually way more stronger than I thought? After all, it is the body of my OC from my first story… and she's a superhuman,'
(The Author: Links to character image(s) can be found in my profile page.)
Shrugging, I shoved Lævateinn back into my Inventory.
I walked slowly, going over what'd happened that could've caused me to come to this world after my probable death.
"... …"
After a couple minutes I came to a conclusion. Closing my eyes, I laughed, eyes twinkling with elation.
'...So, I guess you're giving me a second chance at Life, huh?...' I went through the memories of my life prior to landing in this world, the grin disappearing, '...You finally did grant my wish, at the last possible moment… Gave me a new body. Gifted me a signature weapon straight outta Norse legends. Sent me to another world. And even better, a world I know like the back of my hand...'
I sighed in content, opening my eyes, 'Something to really thank you for-'
My thinking came to a halt at the sight of a dummy, savagely torn to pieces with cotton all over the ground.
"...Oh, crap…" I felt my hopes sinking.
Walking faster, I jogged to the next Save Point once it was in sight.
I could only stare in horror at the pile of Froggit dust left behind, covering every corner of it's spot in The Ruins.
*Playfully crinkling through the leaves fills you with D.E.T.E.R.M.I.N.A.T.I.O.N.

"...Fuck," My footsteps hastened as I brisk walked through the Catacombs, solving puzzles in the blink of an eye with beads of perspiration running down my forehead.
'Why?! Of all the things, why did my first time have to be a Genocide Run!? Gawddammit!-' The image of a dying Toriel suddenly flashed across my mind.
'...Oh FUCK no,' I rose to my feet, racing towards where I knew Toriel's house was in a burst of speed, scattering crimson leaves and dust flakes everywhere.
'ShitshitshitshitshitshitshitshitSHIIIIIITTT!' I sighted another door blocking my path as I was closing in on it at an alarming speed.
"OUTTA MY WAY!" I yelled, summoning Lævateinn from my Inventory and slicing the door to pieces, not even bothering to look back as I continued running, urging my body to go beyond my limits and run faster.
'No way in motherflippin hell am I lettin' Goat Mama die on MY watch!' I gritted my teeth as Toriel's house finally came into view. Not pausing nor slowing down one bit, I reached for the Save Point inside my Soul, pulling it out and pressing on it while my legs pushed themselves, jumping up and over the tallass tree(of course, that meant I didn't bother taking the staircase) and landing on the balcony Superhero style.
Dismissing Lævateinn for now, I panted, pale white skin glistening with sweat. 'So, this is what my new - female - body can do…' I mused for a second, before being greeted by the familiar sound of having SAVEd.
*The thought of the Caretaker dying by the hands of the very child she sought to protect fills you with bloody D.E.T.E.R.M.I.N.A.T.I.O.N.
HP Restored. SP Restored.
I arched an eyebrow. "Well, that's kinda new… but enough rest," I narrowed my eyes, leaning against the door to the house and putting my ear against it, listening for any sound or hint of it. Wouldn't want to come busting the door open if Frisk/Chara was still inside trying to convince Toriel to let them go before murdering Goat Mama in the later confrontation.
(The Author: In case you're confused; Yes, I did fuse the entrance to The Ruins and Toriel's house together. I thought it'd look better that way. And no, I most certainly didn't forget the rooms by accident and got too lazy to fix my mix-take once I realized it. *Is sweating nervously*)
Also, I could've just mistaken the situation! In my panicked state earlier, I'd thought it was a Genocide Run, but who knew? Now that I was calmer and am thinking more properly, this could be a Neutral Run for all I know. After all, they couldn't have been in such a bad mood they'd send their former child straight into a Genocide Run, right?
...Right?...
*It's eerily silent inside.
My hopes were crushed at that statement.
'Dammit. Just my luck!'
Cursing, I balled up my hand into a fist and slammed it against the door with every ounce of strength this body had, sending it flying off its hinges and shattering to pieces when it landed.
The rebound effect of physics only slightly numbed my fingers as I dashed into the cozy little house and down the basement.
'This body; or to be exact, Amane's body… its insanely strong, and that's one thing to thank you for… at least you didn't leave me helpless or weaponless,'
"Y… You really hate me that much…?"
My breath hitched, and I skidded to a stop right behind the corner to The Ruin's exit, hearing Toriel's same dying lines in the Genocide Run of the game I was now living in.
"N-Now I see who I was protecting by keeping you here…"
'No… I-… I'm too late…' I placed a hand over my mouth, shutting my eyelids in an attempt to stop my tears from flowing.
"Not you… but them!..."
Thud!
Peeking out the corner, I saw Goat Mama collapse to one knee. The urge to cry at the death of the 'mother' character of Undertale was stronger than ever. I was once a crybaby, after all.
'Not anymore,' I hardened my resolve, and the urge was gone, completely replaced by freezing cold fury.
...Or was it something else?...
"H a . . . H a . . ."
Putting the hand over my mouth back into the pocket of my white jacket, I sighed softly, silver bangs shadowing my eyes as I listened to Toriel's last laugh, before the sound of a monster fading echoed throughout The Ruins.
Shatter
Followed by the sound of a Soul shattering.
*The death of a kind monster before your very eyes fills you with absolute H . A . T . R . E . D.

"...Heh. Bloody and absolute, huh?..."
I stepped out of my 'hiding' spot - footsteps echoing - with a small smile on my beautiful face, not waiting for them to call me out.
Opening my eyes, I saw the child tilt their head to the side as they turned to observe me, grinning slightly, "You must be either very brave or just plain stupid to come out of your own volition,"
They were shorter than me by quite a bit, their height only reaching to where my breasts are.
I giggled, and boy was my voice angelic. "Well," My smile got a little brighter, my hands still in my pockets, "I like to think it's a little bit of both, but does it matter? You're still going to kill me anyway,"
"...Clever, aren't you?" The grin disappeared, and their eyes turned icy cold, left iris glowing red for a split second, "You're right, it doesn't. I am going to kill you, but I have a few questions I'd like to have answers to first. For one, Who are YOU?"
I opened my mouth to speak, but they continued before I could interrupt, "You aren't supposed to be here... This is MY game. You have no place in it…"
"Hmph," I smirked ever so slightly, memories of my previous life flashing in my mind, "...Just a formerly suicidal brat from a whole other multiverse who might've landed in this world by choice. Or for simplicity's sake, an outsider who isn't 'supposed to be here'," I quoted them, "The name's Amane, but call me Ama. Now, my question,"
I glared at them balefully, smirk gone, "You're Chara, aren't you?"
Their eyes switched from icy cold to unmistakable shock. They took a step back, hair covering their eyes, "...You…"
I laughed, shrugging, "Yes, I know that I know too much for my own good," I grinned, opening my arms wide in invitation, "Now, you gonna kill me or what?"
I knew I couldn't win against them in a straight on fight currently. They were LV 6 after murdering Toriel for God's sake, I didn't stand a chance.
Not that I was gonna go down before leaving my mark.
'Besides, their reaction pretty much confirms it. Hello, Chara…'
Chara rushed me at inhuman speed, stabbing the Toy Knife directly into my heart - not a single hint of hesitation shown. I was faster than them, but I didn't even attempt to fight back. My eyelids closed lethargically.

"...And GOODBYE ! "
Laughing like a madman, I snapped awake, one arm suddenly hugging Chara and squeezing them tight to me, embedding the blood-soaked knife deeper into my poor heart. Lævateinn appeared in my other hand, and I plunged the blood-red blade right into their heart, piercing through my left breast at the same time.
They didn't even have time to struggle.

"...Well now," I stood up shakily, grabbing the balcony railing for support as I nursed my headache, groaning.
"...So this is what LOADing feels like, huh?"
I leaned against the railing, resting for a few minutes. Toriel was probably dead by now.
I clicked my tongue at the bitter thought. I could tell even without a mirror my face was making the 'I'm so, so, sorry…' expression.
''...Hm," I mumbled to myself, not that there was anyone else here that could hear me, "They're probably wondering why they're back to killing Toriel again, and a logical estimate would conclude they ain't overjoyed about it- ...Wait…" I narrowed my eyes in suspicion, going over the line I just spouted along with one or two of Chara's dialogue.
My eyes widened, jaw dropping by a huge margin as I connected the similarities.
'...Oh you gotta be shitting me-' "-YOU PUT ME IN DOUBLETALE WHERE IMMA BE TAKING OVER CTER'S ROLE?!"
The only response I got was a small breeze blowing by, uplifting the fallen leaves by the tree's side. One smacked right into my shell-shocked face, and I shook it off.
Slapping myself a couple of times, I calmed down, "Okay… So I guess this' an AU of an AU, huh? I'm prolly like Predator and Gatherer and Anarchy and whatnot if that's the case… At least, according to XWolf26's DoubleTale,"
'Great. Now I gotta plan five steps ahead for the future n' stuff and consider literally every option there is so I have a backup plan and a backup plan for the backup plan in case the situations that're gonna take place goes to shit,'
I sighed, rubbing my temple, "Dang, really givin' your son quite a lotta trouble here… or daughter now I suppose. Lucky planning for everythin's a good ol' hobby o' mine during free days..." Memories of my past life ran through my mind once more, and I smiled sadly, "...Last time, that is,"
I pushed myself off the railing, stretching. My tired bones popped. Done, I cracked my neck a few times, flexing my fingers as they made popping sounds too.
"...Welp," Both eyes of mine burned with D.E.T.E.R.M.I.N.A.T.I.O.N, sizzling crimson red trails of fire flowing into the air for a moment.
"Let's get started, shall we?"

I strolled through The Ruins casually, humming Tokyovania as I made my way to the Altar room. Ahh… Undertale AUs. Ink Sans' theme had always stuck out to me for some reason. Hell, it's one of my favorite themes! I just can't seem to choose between this and Necrofantasia to name as my all time best.
Arriving at my destination, I walked into the Altar room, immediately spotting the fallen bowl of Monster Candy. Picking up the bowl, I put it back where it belonged, before hoarding all the Monster Candy into my arms.
...And stuffing it into my Inventory. Oh yeah, a change I'd forgotten to mention at the beginning of the chapter. My Inventory was different from the original gameplay; Instead, mine was just a giant black rectangle that displayed a minimum of eight gray boxes at once, though if you scrolled down you'd see more boxes.
...An infinite amount, to be exact. A pretty handy change, wouldn't you agree?
The Monster Candy appeared next to Lævateinn with a 'Ping!' sound, a 96 written at the bottom left of their box.
Neat. Now I have two items: my sword, and 96 Monster Candy. Apparently there was a hundred Monster Candy in the bowl at first, since Chara only took 4 officially.
Still humming Tokyovania, I headed back to the start where all the humans had fallen down, including me.
"..."
I stared at the golden flowerbed that'd always cushioned the fall. Bending down, I plucked ten of the flowers one by one, sniffing them and taking in their beautiful scent, smiling pleasantly.
*Smells like blooming flowers.
"...*Sigh*," I put the flowers into my Inventory, their image popping up next to the Monster Candy.
All that said and done, I began carrying out the task of collecting the dust of every monster in the Catacombs, shoveling them into a random Large Sack which was conveniently located at the corner of the Catacombs' last room - y'know, the room just before Toriel's house - along with the Rusted Shovel.
...I was going to give each and every one of them a proper burial by the exit of The Ruins, right outside the door where Alphys' first camera would be located. Toriel would get an individual bag of her own.
...It was the least I could do for them… That and you-know-what if you've read far enough into DoubleTale.
"..."
Surprisingly, it was quiet. The only noises I heard were my echoing footsteps and the sound of piles of dust being shovelled into a bag.
"..."
Creeeeeeaaaak...
I opened the door to Toriel's home gently, the Large Sack of Monster Dust(The Ruins) slung over my shoulder while I held the Rusted Shovel, dirt and grime all over me.
Wordless, I set down the sack, keeping the shovel and going into Goat Mama's kitchen. Licking my finger, I cut the remainder of the Butterscotch Pie into seven pieces, storing them into my Inventory afterwards. Looking around, I saw a few items that just might come in useful in the future, taking them thoughtlessly.
'...I can't believe it… I'm practically robbing a dead monster's kitchen…' My normal emotionless/deadpan face changed into a small frown.
After having robbed the kitchen of 'valuables', I now had;
Lævateinn
96 Monster Candy(Heals 10 HP)
7 Butterscotch Pie slices(Maxes out HP)
1 Brand-Name Chocolate(Heals 10 HP, can be eaten twice)
3 Cooking Mittens
2 Frying Pans
1 Rusted Shovel
9 Large Sacks(Empty)
10 Small Sacks(Empty)
10 Golden Sunflowers
'...Quite a lot, considering I've only been in this world for what? An hour? Maybe even less,'
Whistling a merry tune to try and keep myself a little more upbeat, I searched around the house for the restroom. There had to be one… I mean, there's just noooooooooo freaking way Goat Mama wouldn't live in a house without a washroom for a couple decades without getting out and having someone install the showers and the toilet. I was just filthy after doing half my job of burying the monsters, and I both needed and wanted a nice, warm shower to clean up myself.
I stumbled across the last room that was under renovations in my search.
I stared at the door silently, contemplating what I should do. I shrugged after a few seconds, placing my hand on the doorknob, "...I REALLY hope this is the bathroom and not anything else those theory videos suggested… especially not the Steve one(If Undertale Was Realistic)," I muttered, opening the door to the unseen room.
I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding when it did turn out to be the bathroom and nothing else...
...That is, until I found what Toriel was trying to hide.
"...Oh…" A scarlet blush quickly formed on my features as I recognized the object, and I giggled perversely, "...Oh, my…"
Reaching forward, I gingerly lifted up the twelve-inch dildo which was carelessly left on the sink in the open, my blush getting redder by the second.
"Hehehe, looks like Goat Mama was much more of a pervert than she let on~" I chuckled, putting the dildo back where I found it.
I didn't even bother looking in the cabinets and drawers under the sink, already having an inkling feeling as to what I'd find there.
The luminescent blush still on my face, I grinned widely, turning to face the two doors before me, one with a sign that read 'SHOWER' and the other reading 'TOILET'.
Rolling my eyes, I switched on the lights and went into the shower room.
'Hm… decent for a former queen, I guess,'
The bath contained the basics of what expensive shower rooms have. A mirror, another smaller sink, a small table for powdering and makeup, towel hangers and hooks, and showering facilities accompanied by a bathtub isolated from the rest of the items by a glass - I don't know what to call it. Glass cage? Yeah, let's go with that - that had a sliding door on it to allow for clients to enter. In addition, it also had a magical washer placed right beside the glass cage! How convenient.
Unzipping my black n' white jacket I took it off, hanging it on a bathroom hook as I unbuttoned my short pants, sliding out of it. Now that I'd gotten a proper look at it, my panties were black in color with decorative gold outlinings. I struggled with my thigh-high stockings for a bit before I got them off as well, hanging my pieces of clothing by the shower hooks and stepping into the shower myself, turning on the tap and switching the water temperature to midway.
Yep. In case you hadn't noticed, I wasn't wearing a bra because I didn't have one. Facts, I don't even have a shirt under my jacket or any other type of pants, cuz I landed in Undertale with literally nothing else on me.
One of the cons of reincarnation in a different body in a different world, I guess.
Water gushed out of the showers, spraying onto me. I sighed in relief, smiling softly. Damn did it feel good to finally get myself cleaner, though it hadn't been too long since my last shower.
Glancing down at my own body, I took on a thinking expression while I washed myself, the soap coming from the dispenser beside the shower tap, which I turned off while soaping.
Lathering my smooth, ankle-length, silver hair took the longest. It was fortunate I researched all kinds of things when I was bored and had the tools to do so; my curious nature helped me for once.
Massaging my scalp gently for a minute or two, I captured the entire width of my hair once I was done, shampooing and rubbing every strand of it as fast and delicately as I could.
I growled in frustration internally. My inexperience was wasting a shitload of time, but I wanted my precious hair to remain as good as it was. I never had this trait before as a guy, so I assumed it was a girl thing.
Or at least, a thing for girls who grew their hair to ridiculous lengths - like me and Yang from RWBY - and had spent a shitty amount of time and effort in taking such good care of their hair it actually managed to grow so well, and was going to spend just as much time and effort in maintaining their hair's condition.
...That got a little bit confusing, didn't it? Redundant too.
I sped through the process of rinsing myself swiftly, starting hair first, then head to toe. However, I paused as I encountered a new problem.
'..How the hell do girls wash their genitalia…?'
Impure thoughts coming to mind immediately, I flushed, before shaking my head frantically and trying in vain to clear them out of my head.
*You are incredibly horny.
"..."
I glared lightly at the text box, unamused.
Deciding to settle this particular issue later, I closed off the tap, sliding open the glass door and stepping out.
I tossed the pieces of clothing I had into the washer, bending over to flip the switch. It made whirring noises, signalling it was on. Selecting the options I wanted, I pressed the Start button. Magically detergenized water began filling the machine, soaking my clothes.
Wiping myself with a random pink towel hung on the towel hangers, I got out of the 'SHOWER' room naked, still drying my wet hair as I walked over to the sink where the dildo was.
"... … ..."
Silent, I seized the massive thing in one hand, squatting down to the locked drawers and cabinets as I snatched out Lævateinn, cutting the covers into pieces.
Pulling the drawers out and looking into the cabinet, I couldn't help but grin pervertedly, seeing the toys inside.
There was at least one of every type of sex toy invented for women being stored here.
Licking my lips sultrily, I shoved them all into my Inventory, taking to the bedroom that wasn't Toriel's.
I was going to be enjoying myself for the next half an hour…
...What? Don't look at me like that! I need some form of relief!

My eyes widened. Holy fuck my sword is OP. Now I had two stats that're unknown, and as far as I'm concerned, unknown stats were the second highest there were, being just below infinity.
I shook my head, chuckling. I needed to find a custom-made sheath for Lævateinn ASAP.
The unique sword vanishing back into my Inventory, I came upon Toriel's remains at last.
"..."
I knelt. A moment of silence for the fallen mother.
"... … … … …"
Rising from my spot, I felt as if a weight had been lifted off me. I dunno why, but I just did. I set myself in the motion of collecting monster dust once again.
After a couple dozen seconds I finished up, replacing the Rusted Shovel with the Large Sack of Monster Dust(The Ruins) as I wiped the sweat off my brow. Slinging both sacks over my shoulder, I pushed the exit door open, continuing on my way.
'Hm… There's no message left for me on the door, unlike in DoubleTale. The differences are already popping up, huh?'
"Howdy!"
I leaned sideways, the golden petal that whizzed by me at bullet speed completely missing.
"Oh great bejaysus…" I cussed, whirling around and pouting at Flowey, "...And here I'd hoped I'd encounter you later, what with the ripples I'd made in this worldline... but instead, you show up earlier. Dangit Flowey,"
*That's too many 'I'd's in one sentence.
Flowey blinked, grinning happily as he tilted his head to the side, Your Best Friend playing in the background, "Well… that was a rather peculiar greeting. Can't say I hadn't expected that,"
I smirked, "And you were a rather cute kid before your transformation, Prince Asriel,"
A choking sound. Flowey gritted his teeth, sneering at me once he regained his composure, "They were right. You really do know too much, for an IDIOT that shouldn't exist!"
"Welp, just goes to go how much smarter I am than you, dumb flower!" I laughed mockingly, "But seriously, you get back your composure fast. Props to you on that,"
Flowey growled in response, and he jumped on the ground angrily, "You think you're soooo funny! Just who do you think you are?!" A tick mark formed on his upper left petal.
Hair covering my eyes, I grinned, dumping the bags on the grass.
Flowey shuddered instinctively, staring at me with wide eyes when I took a step forward. Too late, he realized he needed to escape.
"Shit!" He cursed, burrowing into the ground. I shot towards Flowey at impossible speeds, grabbing him by the stem before he could get away.
Forcing him to look me in the eye, I giggled, already red pupils flaring an even brighter red with D.E.T.E.R.M.I.N.A.T.I.O.N.
"Simply a person who's made a lotta mistakes in life, and someone who can and will SAVE this world and all its inhabitants!"
My eyes softened, and the enhancing glow disappeared.
"That includes you too, Asriel…" I said, barely a whisper as my eyes bore into his very Soul.
"..."
Flowey could only stare back, speechless. Slowly, he started snickering. Then the sniggering turned into chuckling, and then laughter.
"Ahahahahahahahahaha! You… you really ARE nothing but an idiot! If you really do know as much as you act like you do, then you should realize that I CAN'T be saved! It-It's impossible! I've tried everything I could!"
I smiled mysteriously, having expected that kind of answer, "...Oh, Flowey… You sad, miserable creature…" I shook my head dramatically, eyes shut. The glow returned with their reopening, "Like you said, I'm someone who knows too much. I don't just know as much as I act like I do, I know even more than that… Enough that it'd honestly scare ya if I told you, and you believed me," I blinked, pupils returning to normal.
"Oh yeah, did I mention?" I brought Flowey's face inches apart from mine before he could react to my previous statement. My smile switched to a grin that just screamed mischieviety, my cheeks reddening.
I wasn't a hundred percent sure about it, but I could swear pink hearts materialized in each of my irises when I stood up and started stripping, still holding Flowey by the stem.
Flowey bore a hilariously stupefied look on his face as he realized what I was about to force him into.
"W-W-Wait! What do you think you're doing!? L-Let me go-!"
"I'm also a deranged sex maniac…"
Tentacles have always been one of my favorite fetishes...

I whistled innocently, cleaning up the last of the milky white stuff on my hair and gulping it down while dressing up. Slinging the two sacks over my shoulder again, I walked out of The Ruins, looking absolutely refreshed.
The energy-drained corpse of a grey Flowey lay behind me, occasionally twitching but otherwise motionless. It seemed as if someone's just sucked out his Soul, a case which might actually be true.
...Don't gimme that look, m8s.
'Well… That was certainly faster than what I'd expected. Did I really feel that good? ...Or was it just cuz its his first time? I'm hoping it's the latter. After all, we only went for, like, twenty minutes - maybe a little' longer, but definitely less than half an hour, and he got rekt,'
I sighed, going through the final door and being blasted in the face by Snowdin's cold.
Grimacing, I waited for a moment to adjust to the new environment before stepping into Snowdin proper.
'At last,'
Snapping my head over to the rock where I knew Alphys' camera was, I waved, smiling solemnly. Setting down the dust bags, I summoned the Rusted Shovel again, digging a hole into the ground to bury the monsters with.
"..."
The process took several minutes, but I didn't rush it. By the end of it, there were two holes; one many times bigger than other.
Without a word, I poured Toriel's dust down the smaller hole first. I then unloaded the fillings in the Large Sack into the big hole. Once that was over with, I began dumping the snow back in place, discarding the Small & Large Sacks over their respective piles of snow.
Dusting myself off, I kept the Rusted Shovel, kneeling for another moment of silence.
"... … …"
This one was shorter. Standing up, I turned my back to The Ruins, the only sound this place would hear in awhile being my footsteps crunching in the snow.
I raised my head, stopping dead in my tracks. If Chara was still following the time given in DoubleTale during this plotline, then it meant I'd be a few minutes early to the town. But so many changes had already taken place…
Sighing once more, I broke into a sprint, the trees and the snow blurring in my vision with how fast I moved.
Distant screams rang throughout the area as I sped by ignored puzzles and more dust in the snow. Not good, but it meant I wasn't too late to the party.
'...I'm gonna have to clean up all that dust once... Papyrus… is…'
Tears welled up in my eyes at the sinister thought, but I blinked them away.
*Now is not the time to be pondering such things. You must hurry.
