Jana threw her bag on her desk angrily, much to the annoyance of Mr Jeffries. Detention! Again! It was all Jimi's fault, as usual. She huffed and looked over angrily at the smug boy sitting a few seats over from her.

'I'm just going to print something off, won't be a minute.' Jeffries announced.

'Don't talk.' He warned.

The door shut and Jana moved in her chair to face Jimi.

'What's with the sour face?' He asked with a smirk.

'You know what!' she yelled.

'Woah, Woah, don't get like that with me, its your fault we're in here.' He replied

Jana was on her feet now, clearly angered. 'My fault?' She demanded shrilly.

'Yeah!'

'How's that?'

'It was you, you and your dumb mates mess everything up.'

'Don't talk about my friends' Jana yelled defensively.

They were now extremely close and Jana was growling, trying to intimidate him, but Jimi wasn't backing down.

'You need to be taught a lesson.'

'About what?'

'Respect.'

'Me! Respect you? Please, I don't respect girls who don't know what soap is.'

This was the final straw, Jana jumped on Jimi pushing him to the floor, they tussled for a bit and Jimi ended up on top of her.

Jana suddenly became aware of their strange position and looked up at Jimi hopinh he would move, but instead he just looked back at her, smiling slightly.

'Er, jimi?' She muttered.

'You gonna move?' She asked slowly, but strangely he didn't he just carried on looking at her, she wasn't really sure what was happening.

Was he going to hit her?

Hurt her?

Laugh at her?

But instead he did something she would never expect. He moved his face closer to hers and she felt her heart beat increasing, she was feeling every emotion other than what she was expected, disgust. Just as Jimi's lips brushed hers the door swung open.

Jimi then pushed himself off her and sat back in his seat.
Leaving Jana lying on the floor wondering what just happened and why she didn't hear Jeffries coming.
