Disclaimer: I do not own Bleach or any related characters. From the moment I heard of it, I fell in love with this pairing, so please treat it kindly. I didn't get Renji very well in character, but I think that it works for this piece.
Kenka Suru QuarrelTatsuki/Renji
Tatsuki sighed and glared. This was getting old quickly, "Leave me alone already!"
For days on end he sought her out just to get her mad. And now she was sick of it. She was sick of him. "Why should I," the redhead asked, smirking.
"Because you're freaking annoying," she told him. At first she had just thought of him as weird. He went through all this work to get her attention (throwing spit balls into her hair, calling her names within hearing distance), and all they did was fight. Why did he even try to make contact with her if this was all they would do? "Now get away from me."
Renji stepped back, looking her over, "Can't handle this, can ya?"
She wanted to wipe that smirk off of his face. So she did exactly that. Just, it was less wiping and more of completely smashing his face in with her fist. "No, I don't think that you can handle this." It was her turn to smirk.
But, Renji didn't let it stop there. No, now he smiled. It was a strange, toothy smile. His eyes were dancing. Tatsuki was scared. "I think that I can." She thought that he was going to attack her, so she went into a defensive stance, but instead he asked, "Want to go get some coffee with me?"
She fell over, "W-what? Why would I want to do a thing like that?"
"Because you think that I'm cute."
She rolled her eyes. He was so full of himself. Stupid guy. "No." Seconds passed. He seemed to be in shock. Then he grabbed her arm and started dragging her down the street. "What are you doing? Let go of me!"
"I told you. We're going to get some coffee." They arrived at a café and he sat her down in a seat, and then sat down in the one across from her. "Is this so bad?"
She glared, not saying anything. He ordered for the both of them. Still she didn't say a word. The coffees arrived. When she got a hold of hers, she took a hesitant sip. "This is good."
"Told you."
"This doesn't mean that I like you."
"I don't like you either."
Tatsuki lifted an eyebrow, "Yet you asked me to go get coffee."
Taking her by surprise, Renji turned red. If he hoped that she wouldn't notice, it was too late for that, "Yeah, w-well," he glanced around, suddenly shy around a girl that he fought with every day. Orihime was passing by the shop. "I wanted to ask you about O-orihime. Is she dating anybody?"
"Ishida," she still looked at him with a hint of amusement.
"Chizuru."
"Is a lesbian."
"Rukia."
"You already know the answer to that one."
He sighed, "Fine, whatever. Do you want to get coffee again tomorrow?"
"No."
"WHAT?"
