"You worthless peice of shit! I'm ashamed to say that you are my
brother, you fucking whore!" Regulus's words ran themselves over and
over in his mind as he layed, curled up on his four poster bed.
Mostly him and his brother avoided each other, but today, on his way
back to the tower, Sirius had not been paying attention and had run
into Regulus.
He knew he should be used to hate from his family members. And
while his parent's hating him hurt, hearing words like that from
Regulus, his little brother, whom he had once protected and loved,
cut him deeper than anything his parents could have done. Once, he
knew his brother had loved him, but it seemed that in the years that
he had been left alone while Sirius was at school had effectivly
brainwashed him into his parent's point of view.
Sirius curled into a tighter ball as another wave of sobbing
rolled over him. Sirius didn't hear the sound of the door opening or
the gentle question of if he was alright. He finally became aware of
someone else's presence in the room when he felt his bed shift under
new wieght.
"Siri, love what's wrong, come on love tell me what's the
matter," his boyfriend, James coaxed soothingly, as he lay down
next to him wrapping protective arms around his waist.
"Iraninto Reg...ulus and he, ohgod James, he said he was ashamed
of me and that i was a...whore," Sirius's words were jumbled and
broken through sobs and once they were said the boy cried harder.
"Oh Sirius, he doesn't mean it, love, I see him looking at you
with love and regret in his eyes every day, he's scared Sirius, he's
terrified of your father, but he loves you Siri, he does," James
whispered holding him closer.
When Sirius heard that Regulus was scared he cried harder if
possible, he creid for his brother and the thought of what his
father may have done to him. Inside he always knew that his brother
loved him but it still hurt so damn much. Now he cried for the lose
of the childhood niether of them really had.
Sirius, after hours of crying finally calmed down enough to speak
to James who still held him close, comforting, supporting. "Thank
you James, for just being here, reassuring me, and just being you. I
love you James, I love you so damn much."
"Oh, Padfoot, I love you too, and I'm glad I could be here to
help you.
"I'm glad too Prongs, I'm glad too.
