Wishing for Before
Was this it? Was this really going to be the end? The girl gave a frightened whimper and her eyes darted around again. There was no place to run, not that she could run mind you. She had made the mistake of running out here, and lacked the energy to run to safety. Why hadn't she run that training course more? For that matter…how did she get herself into this? Wasn't the first rule taught in school, 'Never go into the wilderness with out a buddy, in the wilderness, killing is accepted and allowed. Make sure you are strong enough to survive before you venture in alone?' Did she have a death wish? Oh. Right. She did. Sort of. It wasn't that she wanted to die…no, not die…just do something incredibly stupid. Not that it would matter much, it's not like he would come to help her anyways… That's why she came here. Him. God, that idiot drove her mad…
They were best friends in school, then…then they were more than that…but now...She might have laughed if she wasn't so terrified. He hated her now. Yes, hated her…if it wasn't enough that he left her for a girl who was a few years younger, as much as that had hurt…she was pretty much alright with it now…No, him leaving her wasn't the problem anymore. The fact that he could stand to be in the same town as her anymore, that's what the problem was. Okay, sure, she was nowhere near as strong, smart or pretty as Mari was…but…where did he get off loathing her like this? What on earth had she done that was so wrong…? That could have changed things so quickly…?
Great. She was brooding again…he hated when she did that. Ah well…nothing she could do about any of it now…Huh. Maybe she should tell someone that she was about to cease to exist…Closing her eyes, the girl roamed around the telepathic threads until she found the one of her closest friend.
"Sky…" She thought quickly, hoping for a rapid reply. The killers were getting closer…
"B? Hey! What's up? God, it's been forever! I've been fishing so much…I'm getting really go-"
"Sky," The girl interrupted her friend mid-speech. "Listen to me, I went into the wilderness…"
"You what?!"
"Yeah…I'm about to get killed…I'm too tired to run, Sky…If I do die…please…please tell him I'm sorry…"
"Sorry? After all that bastard's put you through? All he's done to you? I'll kill him…he's why you're out there!"
"Sky…please…"
There was no words from the other voice in the girl's head, save for a low growl, then, "B, don't you dare die, I'm on my way…" Then the line went dead.
"Shit…" The girl mumbled as the shadow of one of the killers fell upon her. There were three that she could see. One of the males laughed, the leader, she guessed, as he was the one in the front.
"Aww, a scared little rabbit, unable to run away. Fitting, eh, Bunny?"
The girl, Bunny, blinked. "Ralos…?" She questioned slowly, reaching up with a shaking hand to move a piece of her blonde hair out of her eyes. The male laughed again, and raised his blood red sword.
