Sakura had just lost everything she knew.
Sakura had just lost the place she called home.
On the night of October 10th, five years after the Kyuubi attack, everyone was celebrating. Sakura passed out from shock on that night, because her parents just brutally murdered themselves in front of her after being the most wonderful parents for her for years.
They split open their stomachs to let the acid seep through the skin and easily took out their organs. Sakura the poor girl was caught by trap that her parents set at the door and was frozen by the horror of what her parents were doing to themselves, and by the paralysis seal attached to her. Their blood seeped into the floor of the kitchen.
Mebuki and Kizashi both agreed that this was a good lesson for their daughter even if it took away her mental stability. It would make her focused in the craft that she chose. She might not ever trust a person with her life again, but that was fine, they had done their duty as her parents. Both sat in front of the kitchen counter and faced Sakura, who was paralyzed at the door. They slowly peeled off their nails off of their toes, in perfect synchronization. Then, they carved Haruno in beautiful Hirogana lettering into their legs. Since, they took a numbing pill before undergoing this torture in front of their daughter, they hadn't felt a single thing, leaving it up to Sakura to imagine how much pain that her parents were causing to themselves.
Mebuki calmly showed Sakura all of their body parts, from small capillary to their beating hearts. All this information was imprinted into Sakura's mind because of the fact that HER PARENTS WERE CARVING THEMSELVES OUT IN FRONT OF HER. Once, they had come close to their deaths, and all their body parts were dissembled they uttered seven words, "Never believe what you know about anyone." With these seven words, she formed a chakra barrier around her body, as it was her body's way of providing a barrier against this terrible sight. Sakura had been witnessing this torture for hours, these final words, made her hysterical mind decide to kill them because her fragile psyche couldn't process these people as her parents, and since they were not her parents she could kill them right?
During that night, Sakura's parents established one of Sakura's first moral when it came to life: Never be surprised if someone tries to kill themselves in front of you, and if someone survives from disemboweling themselves, kill them yourself, because they might kill you next. Her second was the one that her dear parents left with their raspy last words: Never believe what you know about a person.
With that she slit their throats, and then after the all of her memories finally overloaded her brain, her sight turned black as she fell to the floor.
