Chapter 1: The move to Japan

Hannah has lived her life in many different places she was born in London, raised in Australia and in Hawaii. She's an only child, because of her actions and that her parents could only handle one child and Hannah was handful. Now she's back in London for junior year. She thought she was going to stay here, but it turns out that she's moving again. She had to say goodbye to all of the friends she made in London, Australia and in Hawaii. She was so fed up with it. Hannah is bad girl and rebel; also she's skinny and athletic. She likes to break the rules, do things her way. And sometimes or rarely be a good girl. At her old school City of London Academy Southwark she broke a lot of rules, such as ruining school property, insubordination, graffiti and other things. Her parents [Mason and Emily Covington] hope that her new school will be better for her. "Mom, dad I don't want to move again! I've lost all of my best friends. I'm sick of this!" Hannah said with an angry tone. "Well I'm sorry sweetie your father and I have a better job in Japan." said her mother. "Wait what? We are going to Japan? what exactly is your new jobs?" said Hannah with a shocked /curious tone. "Your mother and I are video game designers. For the corporation of Nintendo." said her father.

"Ok, fine but what's this new school I'm going to?" she said with a bitter tone. Emily says to her daughter "you are going to Azabu High a private school." "What? A private school where people have to wear uniforms. nuh-uh no way I'm not going!" said Hannah with a stern voice. "Sweetie please it's only for your junior and senior year." said her mother. "And what move to somewhere else for my college years" said Hannah with a sassy tone. "We know you're mad sweetie but please calm down. We were going to tell you this later but we have no other choice. After you finish your high school we are moving back to London and staying there for your college years. After that you can do whatever you want." said mason. "Really? I can travel the world. And see my friends again?" said Hannah starting to like the idea. "Yes Hannah" her parents said together.

The next day everything is packed and they head out to the airport. Hannah wears her black t-shirt with writing that says "I love my life...not!" black and white checkered mini skirt black high boots with black gloves with the finger holes ripped off spiked collar choker silver star earrings heavy black silver and pink make-up her jet black emo hair with blood red highlights are teased and down also she has tattoos and a lot of pricings. Her parents wore simple and casual clothes. Once on the plane Hannah took out her laptop and started video chatting with her friends from London Australia and Hawaii in a group chat. The flight was 11hrs. Which meant that she has a long wait but she keeps herself busy by using her laptop, texting, listening to her iPod they have arrived to Tokyo, Japan it's very late so they went to their new home unpack about 10 boxes and settle in. School starts tomorrow for Hannah which is not a surprise cuz she hates school.

It was late at night as Hannah tossed and turned in her bed, she couldn't sleep she got out of bed as she wore a white t-shirt and baby blue shorts and stretched as she went to her computer. Upon turning it on she dimmed the light on her computer so she won't strain her eyes and so that her parents won't know she's awake. She opens google docs on her computer and starts writing in her diary. Even though she hated the idea of moving at least she was able to travel the world a bit, she can say that she visited Australia and Hawaii. Furthermore, while writing in her diary she mentions about finding a boyfriend that likes her for who she is rather than for her looks. Back in London, Australia, and Hawaii boys would flirt with her and try get in bed with her.

Hannah was street smart she knew that those type of guys were not be trusted. She liked the kind of guys who are down to earth, kind, a gentleman and sweet. As an only child she pretty much got everything she ever wanted, but there are times where she felt alone because of that. She thought of her friends as a second family, she does her best to keep in touch with them. She spent almost half the night, on her Facebook her account talking to her face. When she heard faint like footsteps, she logged off puts her laptop on sleep mode and goes in her bed pretending to be asleep. When she heard the door open it was her mother that came in, Emily mitsugiwa Johnson Covington. Naturally her mother is from Tokyo, Japan and she married a British man. Emily's parents are both Japanese and American, thus the long name.

Emily walks over to the bed and sits down next to her daughter. Emily knew that these transitions of her moving around a lot, was tough on her. Emily softly yet gently pets her daughter's hair and says to her in a soft tone "dearest, Hannah I promise you that tomorrow will be a good day. Please bear with us and try to have some fun living here." Emily then kisses her daughter and before leaving, Emily says to her daughter "oyasuminasai [good night] Hannah". Emily leaves and heads to bed. When Hannah heard her mother leaving, Hannah stares at the ceiling, realizes that maybe this move isn't so bad. She weighs the pros and cons, and then realizes maybe she can have fun here while it lasts. and what seemed like the best part is that she can get in touch with her roots of being Japanese, after all Tokyo is where her mother is from.

And as far as Hannah remembered, she spent her elementary and middle school years in japan, then two years of high school in England. During the time she spent in Australia and in Hawaii was more of vacation time. And now she's back in japan to finish her last two years of high school and then college. Hannah's family is Christian and if you think about it, we are all human. We are not perfect, we make mistakes and we try to live pure as much as possible. Once Hannah started to feel sleepy at around maybe 12:08am she does a quick prayer hoping that tomorrow will be a good day as her mother promised. Even though she doesn't get along with her parents she still loves them a lot. What will happen? Will Hannah's parents let her stay in japan? Will school be a living hell for her? Read the next chapter to find out.
