Just some Addison drabble following her super hot sex with McSteamy in Wishin' and Hopin'. Enjoy :)

Disclaimer: Obviously, I don't own Grey's.

Addison lay in the bathtub. Not because she needed a bath; she was clean. After the crisis in the OR with Marina, she'd taken a shower and scrubbed her skin until it was raw. She'd left the hospital and gone back to the hotel she was unfortunately still living in. The sun shone brightly through the window, but the room felt empty. She had picked up the phone, and dialled Mark's extension.

He was here in an instant, and God, when he finally unbuttoned her blouse, she felt like she'd been waiting for it all her life.

She shut her eyes and listened to the buzzing in her ears; the sort of buzzing that accompanied silence after a lot of noise. It filled her senses and she wished she could get away from it. She slid down the wall of the bathtub and allowed the water to fill her ears. That didn't work. The water just pressed against her eardrums, making them want to explode.

Explosions could be nice. Mark made her want to explode.

She lifted her head out of the water and allowed the water to drain out of her ears. It was a beautiful release, and for a moment all was calm.

Then he'd left. She'd sent him away.

The buzzing returned.

Once he'd left, she tried to concentrate on anything else. Anything but the buzzing that tended to fill silence. She thought of Alex briefly, but he didn't hold the same appeal. No lines of deliciousness.

The clock ticked in the corner, and she focused on that for awhile. Anything to get rid of the buzzing that was doing a terrible job of filling the emptiness.

Emptiness. For a moment with Mark she'd felt fulfilled. But like the buzzing, the emptiness had come back. But when he'd kissed her… it was a breath of freshness.

She lifted her hand out of the water and listened to the gentle sound the droplets made when they hit the water. It stopped that awful buzzing and gave way to a certain peace. She exhaled, and watched the ripples her breath caused grow and dissipate.

The feelings of emptiness grew and dissipated too. Mark could make them leave, but when he left, they returned full force. Suddenly, she knew what she had to do, and sat up abruptly, causing water to splash over the edge of the bath. She pulled herself out of the bath, and left wet footprints on the expensive marble floor, and then onto the expensive carpeting.

Without a moment's hesitation, she lifted the receiver on the phone. Cold plastic met warm skin as she dialled his room extension for the second time that day.

"Mark? It's me…"
