"... Oh I do like to HIC beside the seaside... oh I do like to HIC behind the sea..."
Abigail and Amelia rolle theirs at each other and smiled.
"Really Uncle Waldo, you must try and be quiet." Amelia said gently.
"The local's here aren't used to you, not like our neighbours at home." Abigail added.
"Well... these ferench folks should used get to me... they should consider it a most tremenduous honour to be in the prescence of one so civilised..."
"You won't appear so civilised in the morning when you're complaining about a hangover."
"If these savages had condisendiendered to give me some SHERRY..." He said, almost shouting the last word. "... in this state I wouldn't be in..."
"Shush Uncle, not so loud..." Abigail started.
"They should already know about essentials of this like... THE BRITISH PREFER SHERRY!"
They all turned at the sound of an angry frenchman.
"Voulez-vous vous taire fou idiot!"
"Go back to your white wine you savage!" Uncle Waldo shouted back.
"Retournez à votre fish and chips vous snob!"
"Okay Uncle Waldo, let's get you home." Amelia said quickly.

Later that night, Abigail and Amelia settled down into their nests.
"Ah, what a lovely night it is."
"Indeed Abigail, it's a shame Uncle Waldo will miss it." They both turned to see him sprawled out across his own nest, snoring loudly. "Still, at least he's enjoyed his holiday."
"Yes, it has done him good to get out and about, meeting new people."
"Oh yes, weren't they a charming family?"
"Indeed Amelia, although that O'Mally character was a bit of a tiger."
"Sometimes a woman needs a slightly more rouguish man in her life, it adds a bit of excitment."
"Yes, it must be very streesfull looking after three children on her own."
"Indeed, poor dear."
The two of them nodded in agreement.
"You know what Amelia?"
"What is it Abigail?"
"I do fancy a nice cup of..."
"SHERRY!"
The two geese turned around.
Uncle Waldo stared blankly at them for a while before flopping back onto his nest, giving out a loud snore.
"As I was saying..." Abigail continued as the two of them turned back. "I really fancy a nice cup of tea."
"Oh yes, that would be absolutely splendid Abigail."
"Indeed Amelia."
