New Story, Same Concept. Hope you like it. ENJOY!!

I walk up to the door and fumbled for my keys. Once found, I turned it in the keyhole and opened the door. I walked inside and found the guys all over the living room floor.

"Hey, guys…"I trailed. They turned to see me and greeted me back. Mikey hopped up and came over to envelope me into a hug. I smiled at him and looked around. "Where's Raph?" I asked, wondering where he went.

"In the back," Donnie answered. I gave the boys a look and headed to the back.

I opened the door to our room and sure enough, there he was, asleep on the bed. Zoe was cuddled against his chest, messing with the ring on his finger. I smiled contentedly and carefully climbed on the bed. "Hey, baby.," I whispered to Zoe. She cooed. I observed and watched Raph sleep. I watched his chest expand and contract with every breath. He looked so peaceful.

I placed a gentle hand on his cheek and swept some out of his face. Zoe babbled and tried to roll over. I placed a hand on her to stop her, when there was a sharp inhale. I look up and see Raph looking back at me. "Hey, you're back." He breathed. I smiled.

"Yeah. Sorry I've been gone for awhile. You ok?"

Raph sat up and sighed. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just a little tired."

"But this little girl missed you,"

I laughed and kissed her forehead. She let out a little hiccup. "Oh, she did?"

"I missed you too." Raph added.

I looked at him before smiling and giving him a sweet kiss. "I love you."

"I love you, too."

"So, any plans after high school, Mike?" Don asked. The boy in orange shrugged and continued to play with Zoe's tiny toes.

"I don't really know," He replied. "I was just thinking about taking a break from school for a little while."

"You mean a sabbatical? Why?" Leo asked.

"I just want a break from school, cause it's been pretty rough."

Can't argue with that.

A few hours later, the guys left and soon left me with cleaning up some of the mess they made. After finishing up, I headed to the back and saw Raph getting ready for work.

"Do you gotta go?" I playfully whined, entering the room. He turned to me and smirked. "Yes, you know this." He took my hand and pulled me closer. I wrapped my arms around him.

"Are you gonna be fine?" He asked, glancing over at Zoe who was currently snoozing. I looked up at him and smiled. "Of course. I'm pretty sure I can take care of our daughter without you for a couple hours."

He laughed. I stood on my toes and gave him a sweet kiss. Once we parted, I looked into his startling and perfect eyes. "I love you," I whispered.

"I love you, too."

"Now, leave before you make me not want to go."

I laughed.

Approximately ten minutes after her father left, Zoe decided to wake up and things started to get out of hand pretty quick.

"Zoe, sweetheart, what is it that you want?" I asked my child. She continued to bawl her eyes out. It took me awhile to figure out what she wanted to until she turned her head towards my chest. "Oh! you're hungry, baby girl. Is that it?"

Zoe hiccuped and a little spit up dribbled down her mouth, but I would take that as a yes. I am about to head to her nursery when the doorbell rings. I sigh and head to open the door. There standing with about five bags in each hand was Mia. "Hey, sis! What's up?" She greeted, letting herself into the house.

I rolled my eyes and close the door.

"Well, I was about to feed my baby, but sure. Make yourself at home."

Mia dropped the bag onto the floor and went to the kitchen. "Where's Mr. man at?" She asked.

"At work and don't call him that," I replied, slowly walking to the couch. Zoe's wails died down into tiny whines.

"Oh, so he's back at work now? Shouldn't he be here, at home, taking care of his baby like a normal man?" Mia asked, before taking a swig of OJ.

"Neither of us have been to work since Zo was born, so he decided to go back first, so I think I can handle this without my husband," I explained. "And Mia, my beautiful but irrational sister, stop drinking all of the orange juice." I shifted my position on the couch and slightly pulled up my shirt. Zo found her way and latched on.

Mia came over to the couch and dragged her bags where I sat, nearly spilling her juice. "Look at what I got." She presented. I only stared at her. "What are those?"

She tore through the first bag and handed me a box. I grabbed with my free hand and admired the box.

"It's a pump. I've been trying to get a better one for weeks." I spoke. " Thanks, sis. Genuinely." Mia waved off.

"Don't worry about. Just look at this other stuff," She said, pulling other stuff from other bags. Majority of which I will not let my daughter until she's 20. After Zoe was finished, I fixed myself and attempted to burp her. Spit up came out and winded up on my shirt.

"Better hope she doesn't do that when she gets older--" My sister attempted.

" Ok, sis, it's been real. Now time for you to go." I interrupted.

"No, wait. I'm sorry. That was inappropriate, but I need to talk to you. For real." Mia pleaded. I looked at her.

"What is it?"

"It's about mom."

After Mia left, I put Zoe down for a nap and finished some work in the living room. The front door knob jiggled and opened.

"I'm home." Raph called.

I closed my laptop and stood up to approach him. "How was work?"

"Alright. Just still to get used to--" He started, then said me. "What's wrong?"

It took me a minute to find the words.

"My, uh...My Mom. She's sick."

Raph stepped closer. "What?"

I sniffled. "Cancer. Yeah, um..Mia came over and told me. She's not taking it well. Even for her."

A small chuckle echoed between the silence. "Well, how are you doing?"

"Hearing about my sick mom on top of taking care of a newborn? It's a lot." I said. I'm just trying to process it all without breaking down, but a rogue tear escaped my eye.

"Hey, it's ok. Come here," Raph whispered before pulling me close to him. We stood there for a moment, just embracing each other. It felt good.

"You know I'll always be here, right." He spoke. I sighed and listened to his heartbeat.

"Yeah. Always."

And Forever.
