Innermost thoughts: Pushing

A/N: This is a series of a character's thoughts during various points in the series. This one is from Pegasus after commander Adama told Lee and Kara they were going to transfer

Commander Adama sat down on his bunk and stared foreword. It had taken all his courage, and his energy, to tell Lee and Kara that they were being transferred to the Pegasus, and even more to act like he agreed with the idea. He hoped someday, they would learn the truth, Lee and Kara were practically all he had left.

It was all Admiral Cain he imagined himself saying. She just kept pushing me to do this

Pushing, it was all that Admiral Cain had done. Pushed the Galactica's way of life aside, pushed her own vaguely disturbing values in, and pushed away her humanity a long time ago.

When he had read Dr. Baltar's report on the condition of the Cylon prisoner, he was shocked. He was even more shocked at how horrified he was at the mistreatment of a Cylon. More pushing he thought. They pushed that Cylon to the limit, for no real purpose.

Admiral Cain was pushing too hard. And if something didn't happen soon, he would have to push back.
