Disclaimer: I do not own Gundam SEED/Destiny. Although, I wish I did!

The Earth was looking around aimlessly when he saw a star shining in the distance. Almost instantly, he fell in love with her. The Earth was patient. He knew that if he waited, one day, he would finally get to meet that star.

True enough, the day finally came. The star, although still far, was as close as it would ever get.

"Hi, I'm the Earth!" He said.

The star smiled. But before the Earth knew it, there was an explosion and the star disappeared… Forever.

"NOOOO!!!" He screamed.

He was so heart-broken, staring at the spot where the star had once been, tears running down his face. Just then, he heard a melodic voice, calling out to him.

"Don't cry; she would have wanted you to be happy."

The Earth turned around to face the source of the voice, and saw the Moon.

"B-But… I can't… No hope… No light…"

The Moon's voice softened.

"No amount of crying will bring her back. There is still hope, deep inside of you."

"Really?"

"Why would I lie?" The Moon smiled.

"H-Hey, Moon? Where did you come from?"

The Moon laughed.

"Actually, I've been here all along, following you. You just never noticed me."

The Earth was confused. How could he not have noticed her? Her voice was so sweet, so calming. As if reading his thoughts, the Moon laughed once more.

"This is the first time speaking to you. You've probably never noticed me because I'm so small, and I don't shine." Even though she was speaking of her own flaws, the Moon kept on smiling.

"Will you… always be here? For me?"

"Sure, for you, always."

And so, as the days passed, the Earth began to think less and less about the star and more and more about the Moon.

"Hey, Moon? How come, when we first met, even though you were talking about your flaws, you were still smiling?"

"Because, I know that although I am flawed, I still have my positive sides."

"What are they?"

"Not telling you!"

"Aw… Come on…"

"No! But… If you really want to know, find out for yourself!"

After that, the Earth paid extra attention to the Moon. It didn't take him long to find out her good sides.

She may not give out her own light, but she reflected others' light, bringing out the best in them. She may be small, but she persevered during hardships and never gave up. Finally, she was there for him through it all, the good times and the bad.

And before he knew it, he had fallen in love with the Moon. No, she wasn't just the Moon, she was his Moon.

Yes, Shinn Asuka was just like the Earth. He had lost Stellar, a shining star in the distance. And he had found hope in Luna, his ever loyal moon.

Um... Yea... I had always thought that it was weird for Shinn to fall for Stellar which means Star and Luna which means Moon.
