Junior High Troubles!
Lizzie was devestated. It was the end of her seventh grade year and it seemed like her whole world was falling apart. Kate hated her Miranda and Gordo after a recent fight. She wanted to die although only Kate and her friends were mad at her it seemed like everyone was mad at her. Kate had a certain disease; she'd do anything to be popular even if it meant losing her best friends.
"She isn't a good friend anyway," Gordo said in hopes of cheering Lizzie up. "A good friend would never try to hurt you like that. We promise no matter what we'll never still be friends in the end," Miranda said softly. Lizzie sighed, "It's not because I lost her that I am sad. It's because she can't except me for who I am. Maybe I just need to vent for a while then it won't hurt as much, I hope." "If you need a shoulder to cry on were always here for you," Miranda and Gordo agreed.
"Why aren't you guys sad about her being mad at you too?" Lizzie asked. "We just don'care if someone finds us small, dumb and obnoxious. That's their problem." "But YOU LOST ONE OF YOUR best friends over this!!!" Lizzie was now frustrated and shaking with anger. "Listen to yourself Lizzie! A good friend would never do this to us." Maranda was also getting frustrated, but with Lizzie. "Well I guess your right, thanks, I guess I just needed a little pep talk!"
"It helps to know I am not alone on this Kate thing." Lizzie said. "How about we go to the movies, my treat?" Miranda suggested. "Okay, my mom can drive us!" Lizzie was excited she had been wanting to see the new Charlie's Angels movie forever!
When they all arrived to the movies Lizzie was so excited she forgot all about Kate. As Miranda and Lizzie were watching the movie, Gordo was gazing at Lizzie with great love. He only caught himself doing it a few times and was glad that Lizzie didn't see. He thought about what his two best friends would do if they found out that he liked one of them. They'd never talk to him again. He felt bad for Lizzie and how she always worried about these kinds of things. Before he knew it, the movie was over and Lizzie was on the phone calling for a ride home.
After everyone was dropped off, Lizzie told her mom all about the movie and raced up stairs to get into her japama's (pajamas). She was sooo happy about the results of the movie she had been longing to see.
In her room all alone, the memory of her and Kate's fight came rushing back. But somehow she didn't care as much. She had two good friends that would never ever let her down. She remembered hearing Kate's new popular friends talking and saying how much she hated all four of them. They said, "Kate's the only one that would go with us and split her other friends apart to fend for themselves. So get Kate to hang with us then let her go all alone with know friends." Lizzie now knew she was going to be all right aside from a slight headache from the fight. Kate would come running back and then the power would be in her hands. She smiled to herself and turned on her side to go to sleep.

A/N: I hope you like the beginning chapter of the story! Who knows what lizzie will do next. All you can do is kick back and read the next part which will be coming out as soon as I get it finished. Remember to review. Later.
