Very short--and my first ever Troypay!
Disclaimer: I do not own the characters.
There were many girls in Troy Bolton's life. Hundreds, as a matter a fact. But none of them would ever come as close to his heart as the one standing in front of him. Not even his best-friend. She was staring at herself in the mirror, her eyes read, her teeth chewing nervously at her lower lip, her hands twining themselves together anxiously. Every now and again she would look back at him, and then she would look into the mirror again, her eyes tearing up again.
"Shar? You look beautiful," Troy whispered, touching her waist softly.
"Do I? Are you sure?" Sharpay Evans asked, turning and grabbing hold of his arm. Troy sighed and turned her so she was facing him full on, no glances into the mirror.
"Sharpay, listen to me," Troy began, his voice solemn and gentle. "You are the most beautiful girl in the world. Every time I look at you, I have to convince myself that you are not an angel, and you're a real person." Sharpay sniffed slightly, looking back at the mirror, at the flowing white gown flooding around her ankles.
"You say that to all your girlfriends," she mumbled. Troy shook his head.
"You aren't my girlfriend, Sharpay. You're my fiancee. In four months, we are going to be married. In four years, I'm still going to think you are the most beautiful girl in the world. For crying out loud--in forty years, I'm still going to think you're the most beautiful girl in the world!" Troy smiled down at her. Sharpay smiled back, her tears and uncertainties gone.
"Really?" She asked with a smile. Troy pulled her closer, their faces inches apart.
"Really," he said as he laid a soft kiss on her mouth.
Yeah, I know, really short.
But review, and tell me what you think!
