eliza was walking down the hall to the holding cells to see how much southside serpents the sheriff station rounded up. she gasped as she saw about half the population of the infamous gang, her eyes immediately displaying fury. "where's keller?" she asked with venom dripping from her voice, making it loud enough so every serpent would hear her.
the serpents snickered as they found her adorable, but pointed in the direction keller left to anyway. eliza stormed into the room, only to see her father speaking to sheriff keller. "sheriff, may i speak to you?" she asked through gritted teeth, pointing at the room she previously was in.
her father only leaned back in his seat, unamused. eliza had always done these kind of things back in chicago. keller followed her into the holding cells, eyeing the serpents suspiciously. "was rounding up the entire southside high really necessary? or was it just because mccoy told you to do so, and you obliged because of your affair with the said mayor?" she spat, knowing of the affair from betty and veronica.
keller was lost for words as his vision flickered between eliza and all the serpents watching their every move. "i.. don't know what you're talking about, wilson." he replied confidently, starting to think about the fact that he would win this argument.
eliza pulled out her phone, shoving it in keller's face. "oh, no? then should i just call kevin and tell him you're already sealing the deal with mccoy?" she threatened, facing the phone back to herself as her index neared kevin's contact.
"stop!" keller snapped, rubbing his temples in distraught. "what do you want me to do?" he asked, finally giving into the girl's orders. keller couldn't risk his son knowing about the affair he was having while still being married.
eliza pointed at all the serpents with her finger, jabbing it into keller's chest afterward. "let them all out without being charged for any crime." eliza concluded, tucking her phone safely in her back pocket as she shifted her weight on to one leg.
keller was reluctant, then reached for the keys around his waist. he chucked them toward eliza as she caught them ungracefully. "thank you, go back to my father and tell him i'm coming home late." eliza dismissed, moving toward a cell with the keys around her finger triumphantly.
as eliza was at the last cell, she bumped into a taller serpent who had just come out of the cell opposite the one she was unlocking. "watch it." she mumbled before inserting the key and turning it, pushing it open while they piled out.
a few serpents wolf-whistled in pride, but eliza was quick to shut off their assumptions. "i'm not a serpent." she blurted out, twirling the keys around her index finger awkwardly. the serpents payed no mind to it, only walking out with smug smirks on their faces.
"sorry, that's how they usually are." a boyish voice said behind eliza. she was quick to turn around, only to relax as she saw the leather jacket hugging his body comfortably. "fangs, fogarty."
eliza nodded at the newfound information, moving back a bit to add more length between them. "eliza wilson." she said, bowing toward fangs.
