"Potter, will you please stop singing those dreadful tunes for one second," Draco yelled, trying to get Harry to hear him over the Christmas songs constantly playing in the background.
"What do you mean," asked Harry. He stepped up one another step on the ladder to hang a few more lights in the 8th year common room.
Draco walked over to the small muggle radio another student brought that was fixed to be able to play inside of Hogwarts. He jumped up to grab the floating machine and, after fiddling with it for a few seconds, managed to turn up the volume before hurriedly turning it back down even slightly. "You couldn't have waited for a few more days so it is actually December could you."
"C'mon Malfoy you know how great Christmas is at Hogwarts and I want to make the last one here count!" Harry pulled out his wand and with a flick, turned the volume back to normal and stepped down the ladder to grab a few wreaths.
Draco finally figuring out how to work the contraption turned it down again, and walked closer to Harry. "Can't you just keep it down for a few minutes so I can complete the potions paper?"
"You should of had it done, it's due today."
"Like you're the one to talk, Hermione practically did yours for you."
"She just helped this time!"
Draco slide closer to Harry, "If you don't stop being an obnoxious Christmas caroler, then I'll have to make you."
"Do your best Draco," replied Harry as he turned up the music and started to sing along to "Jingle Bells."
Harry wasn't going to stop, so Draco decided to shut him up the only way he could think of. He leaned in and delivered a long kiss on Harry's cheek. Before the kiss could end Draco made another swish of his wand turn the radio silent once again. At that moment the common room fell silent as everyone exchanged money from their constant bets on who would kiss who first.
"Guess I'll just have to make you annoyed with cheer more often."
"That may be easier now, Potter."
