The Yearly 365 Challenge
Prompt #1 (Location) Whyte Wrym
"Come on let me get you home." Kevin sighed at he stopped in front of the table. His hazel eyes looking into the drunken and angry blue green eyes.
"Leave me alone." Chic growled. He lifted the mug up to his lips once more. He frowned darkly as he realized the mug was empty. "Matter of fact go get me another round."
"Not happening." Kevin jammed his hands in his jeans pockets. "Come on Chic let's get you out of here."
"Go to hell." Chic glared up into his eyes. "No one asked you here. No one wants you here."
"Betty wants you ..." Kevin began.
"You can tell my baby sister that I quite enjoy the darkness. That I qutie enjoy swimming in the depth. Tell her that she doesn't need to save me." Chic slammed the palm of his hand down on the sticky table. "Tell her that she and Polly are the only ones of this side of the Cooper family line whom can truly live in the light."
"Are you quite done feeling sorry for yourself Chic Cooper?" Veronica's hard voice spoke behind Chic's chair.
Chic swung around. "So Betty brought out the big guns now did she?" He smiled thinly. "Veronica Lodge you are my baby sister's protector now ... you need to protect her against me also. After all I'm more like mom and dad then even she is." He stood to his feet. "Tell her to forget about me. To leave me in the darkness. That she and Polly ... and Dagwood and Juptior are the hope for the light."
"Are you quite done feeling so damn sorry for yourself?" Veronica sighed as crossed her arms. "It's quite not a great look for you."
Chic stepped in closer to the shorter brunette. "You can only save one Cooper sibling. That has better be Betty." His steely eyes stared straight into hers. "If I find that you failed Betty because you are trying to save me ... then there will be special place in hell where I will torture you for all time."
"I'm saving Betty by helping you Chic. Betty wants you by her side." Veronica's arms unwrapped from her chest. "Once you sleep this off ... then you'll see reason. Let's go. Now." She spoke forcefully.
"Just leave me in the darkness." Chic sighed deeply.
"I can't." Veronica whispered.
