A/N: A little poem about Suzu. It contains spoilers for episode 7, so don't read if you haven't gotten that far yet!
Decades pass in the blink of an eye
Technology makes leaps and bounds
The world changes constantly
And she can never change with it
She checks her face for wrinkles at times
Searches her skin for tan spots
She has such a painful sense of humor
Friends hunch and wither while she stays firm
They leave her behind every time
She strives not to get close to anyone
But isolation cuts as deep as loss
A silver of her rejoices when Kouko fails
Before she can worm her way into her heart
Although the empty bed beside hers
Paints a rather bleak picture
She idly wonders if anyone in her class
Wishes to drink from the fountain of youth
She entertains herself with the absurdity of the thought
And casually mourns that she's too jaded to cry
Over the fact that she would trade her endless youth
For hair that greys
Faster than the blast of an exploding collar
Can turn a throat to pink mist
