Henry was a curious child by nature. He could hardly be faulted for this given his parentage. It was really Hook's own doing, dangling a carrot in front of a horse like this. Henry had been given full freedom aboard the Jolly Roger, to explore and live out his wildest pirate fantasy, excluding one room. No explanation was given aside from a wink and a vague, "Pirates all have their secrets…."

The first lock on the door was child's play, almost too easy to pick. It was the padlock on the trunk inside the closet that was giving him a hard time. Pirates didn't joke around when it came to their treasures….

"How did you get in here?" said the shadowy figure leaning in the doorway.

"I…uh… Sorry, I didn't mean to…."

"You didn't answer my question. HOW did you get in here? How did you pick that lock? Who taught you?" Hook asked from the shadows of the doorway.

Henry stumbled for composure, trying and failing to look innocent while being caught breaking and entering.

"Uh, I…mom…She taught me."

"And who do you think taught her?" Hook responded.

"I don't know…My dad?"

"And who do you think taught him? …Me." Hook replied with a wink.

Hook leaned towards Henry, eyeing up the lad with a sense of secrecy. "The trick with this lock is to twist to the left and jiggle upwards…."
