One sunny morning in the Big Harbour, the Dispatcher had some news for the tugs.
"You are all to get your hulls checked today." He announced.
The tugs groaned. They didn't like inspections very much, as they could do nothing until they were completed. But the Dispatcher had something else.
"Oh George, the workmen told me you don't need to. You got yours inspected after your engine failed last week."
"Yes that's right Dispatcher." George agreed.
"Well, you can stay here and rest a while until the others come back. Off you go." The Dispatcher told the others.
...
Whilst they were making their way to the workshops, the tugs were disappointed that George was already checked over.
"It's not fair!" Hank complained. "I can't believe that George gets to rest whilst we're stuck in the workshops."
"Yes. We're just stuck in there not doing anything, and I hate that." Foduck added.
But Emily and Theodore were more positive about the matter.
"Come on guys, I know we wouldn't be working now- but just think, when we do get our hulls checked, we can join George and get back to work!" Theodore pointed out.
Yeah- besides we have friends who work there," Emily added. "We can say hi to them!"
This brightened Hank and Foduck considerably.
