I don't own Naruto

He was the god of the night. Not literally though. But if there were such a thing, then this seventeen-year-old man would fit the job perfectly. Navy hair, black eyes that resembled the emptiness of space, pale skin, and a god-like body, no one could show him up in anything, no one dared to try, that is except for Naruto Uzumaki. Gold hair, sky blue eyes, tan skin, and the chiseled features of an athlete. So how is it that Naruto, a warm bright summer's day where kids play and laugh, and Sasuke, the winter's night that few people appreciate, end up to be best friends? Simple, they are complete opposites. They are the north and south poles of a magnet, and thus, they attract. However two opposites should not always attract. One example is Sakura Haruno and Sasuke Uchiha. Though she is completely and totally smitten with Sasuke, he doesn't seem to return her feelings. No Sasuke is in love with the goddess of the moon. Hinata Hyuga, with her long violet hair, and slender figure. She had such a beautiful beauty, that few could grasp and comprehend. But Sasuke could. There was not a single mistake with her. Well how would he know? After all she had never worn anything to make her look appealing. And that just turned him on even more. Now he stared at her beautiful figure from afar. He sat in the back of his class staring at the back of her head. He saw her stiffen and realized that she had noticed him. He quickly averted his gaze toward the chalkboard and saw her relax a bit. It fascinated him, the fact that she was able to tell that she was being watched even though she didn't turn around. He wanted to talk to her, but there was just one problem. Gaara was Hinata's dawn. He cared for her and watched made sure that no one could hurt her. He had been her knight in shining amour ever since Kiba had died from substance abuse and Shino had moved away. Hinata and Gaara Suna had been going out for two years by tomorrow and Sasuke cringed at the thought of that demon touching his moon.

The bell suddenly rang and Hinata was the first one up and the first one out. Gaara was out lounging on the lockers to meet her.

"Why didn't you go to class?" Hinata asked bumping into him.

"Hn." He said quietly. Hinata accepted the silence and put her head on his shoulder and Gaara put his arm around her waist.

"Can I come over today?" She asked politely. Gaara shook his head.

"We're going to meet with some of my friends. You're going have to dress up. Oh and Uchiha." The red head turned and stared dangerously at Sasuke. "I'm seeing you at the party." It was more like a statement than a question.

"Hn." Sasuke walked passed him brushing against Hinata's shoulder making her shudder.

"What party?" Hinata asked as they stepped out of the building.

"I'm bringing you."

"Why, we hate parties." Somehow Hinata transformed from the shy innocent girl she was in school, to some woman with a dead glazed look in her eyes and a shockingly beautiful, strong appearance.

"I love it when you do that." And Gaara was referring to how her mood changed, like the phases of the moon did. Around Gaara, it was a demonic, unfeeling attitude that seemed to be new compared to her usual kind self.
