In My Dreams

I never believed that my life would turn out this good. Or this bad. He died, but my memories of him didn't. He loved me no matter what I said or what I did. Now it was just

coming to accept that he couldn't be there any more. He told me to move on and live. And I did. I'm married now, four years after the sinking. I have a baby boy. His name

is Jack. I've learned to ride horses (one leg on each side) and I rode the roller coaster untill I threw up. I'll never forget what he did for me. He saved me in every way a

woman can be saved.

He made sure i didn't jump.

"I'll let go!"

He went and threw his ciggarette over the edge. "No you won't."

I said back to him, "What do you mean no I won't! Don't presume to tell me what it is I will or will not do. You don't know me."

"Well, you would have done it already." He was right. I would've. I didn't want to die.

"You're distracting me. Go away.", I replied.

"I can't. I'm involved now." He was."You jump in there and I'm going to have to go in there after you."

He didn't have to. He persuaded me to climb back over. I almost fell. He saved my life.

He also taught me how to spit. A very... ummm... defined moment in my life.

"And spit like a man."

"What, they didn't teach you that in finishing school?"he asked sarcasticly.

"No." I replied almost laughing.

He showed me how to get some "body" in it. Molly Brown pointed out that he had a little "something" on his chin.

We went to the best party ever.

I chugged down the beer he gave me like it was water. He looked at me in disbelief. "What, you think a first class girl can't drink?" I asked him. He laughed and so did I.

A man bumped into us and splashed beer in my face. "Hey, get outa' here." He pushed him away. "Are you alright, Rose?" I just started laughing.

He really did love me. He cared so much even if the smallest thing happened to me.

He made it possible to fly without wings.

"Hello Jack. I changed my mind." I said softly hoping he would take me back."They said you might be up he..."

"Shhh... Give me your hand." I obeyed. "Now close your eyes. Go on." I did. "Step up. Now hold on to the railing. Keep your eyes closed. Don't peek." He directed.

"I'm not." I hadn't felt that calm ever in my life.

"Step on to the rail. Hold on. Keep your eyes closed." I laughed a bit at that comment. "Do you trust me?" he asked.

"I trust you." He spread my arms out like an eagle.

"Alright, open your eyes." he whispered.

I opened my eyes and the ocean was in front of me. It was amazing. I didn't know what to say. "I'm flying. Jack, I'm flying." I kind of laughed in disbelief.

Then we kissed. It was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in my life, next to my children.

He drew me as something besides a porcelin doll.

"I want you to draw me like one of your French girls. Wearing this." I grabbed the necklace around my neck. "Only this." I thought he was going to choke on his own

saliva.

He drew the most beautiful picture of anyone I had ever seen.

He made me believe in magic.

BEEP BEEP! "Where to miss?"

"To the stars." I whispered. I pulled him to the back seat where I was. I gently kissed his fingers.

That's where the real magic started to happen.

He kept me safe. All throughout the sinking he never really paniced. He only wanted me to be safe. That's why I loved him. He would give his life for me even though we had

only known each other for two days. "You jump, I jump... Never let go of that promise, Rose."

I won't let go Jack, I won't let go.

AN: I cried just writing that. Man that was pretty good. I had the movie on for reference, so it's pretty accurate. I hoped you guys liked that.
