Again this is Blood and Moonshadows fanfic… It just so happens she wrote it in my notebook, so I'm forced to type… again its AU… Do I even need to say that? Isn't obvious? Oh well review… and most importantly enjoy…
Daisy hugged his stuffed rabbit close. It was a beat up old thing, with exactly 27 stitches, but he still had the nerve to insist it was 'cute'. How he found this cute, Yamamoto had no idea, but he supposed that was why he loved him.
If you asked Yamamoto what was cute, he might answer you with a giant stuffed baseball bat, or a small child wearing a baseball jersey. If you asked Daisy, well, we won't list Daisy's answer because we don't want to be sued on the basis of causing mental scarring.
How would the two ever end up together, you wonder? Yamamoto would say opposites attract… for example, a Yankees fan falling in love with a Red Sox fan, even though they liked different baseball teams (in case you're wondering, no, he doesn't think about anything but baseball.) Again, you really don't want to know what Daisy said.
But the whole real story is this: Tsuna had thrown a Kwanza party. Why? He was hoping it would open the other's minds a little, convince them that there were other things besides the Mafia that they could do and make them leaving, therefore eliminating any need for him to become a Mafia boss.
But we're getting off track. So Tsuna threw a Kwanza party, and everyone got horribly drunk that they decided to play a game. Each wrote down their names and put them in a hat, and they came up with one person they would feel really awkward alone with. So Yamamoto wrote down Daisy- I mean, come on, who wouldn't feel awkward all alone with him?
When Yamamoto's name was pulled (coincidentally, he was first) he was asked who he wrote. They told him he had to ask whoever it was out on a date- in front of everyone. Daisy hadn't come for reasons we won't state here. We won't state it here for reasons already stated. So Yamamoto called him and put him on speaker for the others to hear. After some hesitation, Daisy said yes.
Naturally, or perhaps unnaturally, they hit it off straight away and have been together ever since, And Yamamoto now denies ever having thought it would be awkward just to be alone in a room with him.
