Author's Note: This is just something that was inspired by Dancing With The Stars, Cody Linley, and Julianne Hough. Enjoy, and happy reading! Short but sweet, haha!

Chapter One: Headache

What she needed was some painkillers.

Because Julianne Hough had a serious headche going on, and it was all because of her partner, Cody Linley.

The Hannah Montana star could be mature when he wanted to be, but being eighteen was sort of the age where you were also immature, and Julianne knew that, because she had been eighteen at the time.

Now, at age twenty, and a successful Dancing With The Stars dancer, she realized that eighteen wasn't such a great age to be at.

Julianne rubbed her head again, and sighed.

They were getting better, she was sure of that:

If only Cody could learn how to stay focused.

Tonight, they were going to do the Jive, and if Cody didn't learn how to behave, then what was she going to do?

She heard a knock at her dressing room door, and she glanced at it.

"Come in!" she explained, and Derek Hough, her older brother, entered.

It was funny how Julianne and Derek ended up on the same dancing show, but atleast his partner, Brooke Burke, wasn't an eighteen year old boy!

"Hey, sis." Derek said.

"Hey, Derek." she commented, and she glanced at his hair, and she burst out laughing.

Besides Julianne and Cody, Derek and Brooke were doing the Jive, and Julianne had to admit that Derek and Brooke were really good.

"What's wrong?" Derek asked, but then he grinned as he touched his hair.

"Oh...my hair. It's for the Jive."

Derek's hair was styled in a way that it looked like a bird's nest, and Julianne wasn't kidding.

"I see. Well, I'm going to become Lucy from I Love Lucy when me and Cody dance."

Derek looked at his younger sister.

"How are you and Cody holding up?" he asked, and Julianne sighed again.

"We're doing better, but Cody sort of has an attention span...It's hard to explain." Julianne told him, and Derek nodded.

"He's eighteen, Julie. Give him a chance. By the end of the show, he'll be a pro. Besides, he doesn't act like an eighteen year old boy all the time. He acts more mature for his age because he's around older people than him." Derek commented, and Juilanne nodded.

"I know that. But, sometimes he can give me such a headache!" Julianne stated, and Derek laughed.

"Well, trust me: he'll get better, and he has been getting better within every dance you guys do." Derek exclaimed, and Julianne nodded as she got up from her seat.

"Yes. Of course."

The two went out of Julianne's dressing room, and Derek looked at her.

"We better go practice. The Jive is sort of hard to do, with all of it's tricks."

Julianne nodded as she and Derek seperated, and she went into the room where she and Cody practiced, and she was surprised to see Cody all ready there.

"Hey, partner." Cody annouced, giving her a smile, and Julianne smiled back.

"Hey, partner...you are early." she stated, and Cody nodded as he walked over to her.

"Yeah...you are late." he shot back, and Julianne grinned.

"I was talking to Derek about something, but it's nothing. Let's practice."

As Cody and Julianne practiced, she noticed that Cody was paying attention, and was trying his hardest not to get distracted, and she just had to smile at that.

Maybe they could win this season...
