Kismet:

kis·met

noun

fate; destiny.

I want to line the pieces up.

Yours, and mine.

I lay awake at night for you

And I pray

We'd cross the deepest oceans

Cargo across the sea

And if you don't believe me

Just put your hands on me

And all the constellations

Shine down for us to see

And if you don't believe me

Just put your hands on me

Like is any of this for real or not?

Back then I swore I was gonna marry him someday

But I realized some bigger dreams of mine

And Abigail gave everything she had to a boy

Who changed his mind and we both cried

'Cause when you're fifteen and somebody tells you they love you

You're gonna believe them

And when you're fifteen, don't forget to look before you fall

I've found time can heal most anything

And you just might find who you're supposed to be

I didn't know who I was supposed to be at fifteen

Thinking of you wherever you are,

We pray for our sorrows to end,

And hope that our hearts will blend,

Now I will step forward to realize this wish

"Huh?"

A noise, like a bell, could be heard faintly from the boundaries of her hearing. As she turned, a flash of light blinded her.

The room began to spin, and Kairi's body became limp and the last thing she heard was herself hitting the floor, as she slowly faded to the world of dreams.

Groggily, Kairi opened her eyes to find herself behind a glass wall. On the other side of this wall, she saw a girl, younger than herself, running through the woods. By the looks of it, this girl was training or running for fun. The girl finally slowed down enough that Kairi could get a good glimpse of her face. Azure eyes, brown hair, with golden highlights in the front. A well plumped girl, obviously very athletic, unlike Kairi and her clumsy self. But even through the dense forest, Kairi saw a strange glow emanate from the girl. Almost, it felt like, a clean, friendly glow, a type of feeling that could make a stranger smile. As the girl turned, her skin sparkled.

"Not like Edward Cullen's sparkle though!" Kairi thought, chuckling to herself.

Lifting herself off the ground, Kairi started to bang on the glass wall. It shimmered with every pound,

"Ugh, a magical barrier. Just what I need."

As Kairi looked at herself, it was almost like a hallucination.

"Well, maybe this is a dream..? This does sort of feel like one of those 'out-of-body' experiences. Maybe if I pinch myself I'll wake up…" Kairi thought. With the pinch, Kairi found herself falling, through the ground and onto her bed, in her room.

"W…T…F" Kairi spoke allowed, running out the door to find Riku and Sora.
